dissimilar social mediums. All the three mediums are used to interact among people in whom it
is created to exchange of information as well as ideas into the virtual communities plus networks.
Communication and marketing has managed main social media channels such as Facebook,
Twitter and Linkedin. “Authenticity is the key of the social media platforms as these platforms
can contain personal information of the audiences” (Foreman). It enables to respond and listen to
the others and shares feelings with others.
Twitter is faster as compared to Facebook as it updates in each few seconds. By using this social
media site, the timeline will automatically update when the user posts and tweets something new.

a new tweet. New tweets are arrived in 30 seconds at the same time as Facebook can operate at
low rapidity, therefore people can create new post in few minutes. “The users attributed negative

their feelings in few seconds by using pictures and words. The users are being registered to send
the tweets but anyone can able to read them. The strength of Twitter lies in posting of real

social media in the marketing efforts. It is found that 7% of the Americans are used Twitter as it
follows brands of the companies and checks Twitter feed throughout the day. “The researcher

social media” (Pulido et al.). Hashtags (#) are the key tool on Twitter where the tags allow the

Facebook is considered as number one social media site, while approximately 42% of the
customers are using various social media sites such as Twitter and Linkedin. Facebook is the site
where the users can create a profile of their own by creating a Facebook account; and uploading
a picture to keep in touch with the friends and families. It looks to generate brand awareness.
Other difference is that Facebook can seem to be made for the older individuals while Twitter
can make more for youth people. “The research is focused on sources which are used by
receivers of messages. At the starting, the academics are taken as the electronic sources such as
website of the firm newsletters plus emails” (Fraidaki et al. 179). The teenagers are using mobile
phones for the social networks for expressing themselves faster and continue with the outside
activities. Facebook is not slow but it is not faster as compared to Twitter. Facebook is not just
faster for the society in age and current days.
Linkedin is the business oriented social networking sites which is used to assemble connections
as well as specialized relationships with other business professionals. Due to professional nature
of the website, this social media is popular among the college graduates as well as employed
people. It is not a site so that the users can check on a daily base. “The social media concept is
impacted as broader concepts which are included social improvements with positive steps
towards the social goals” (Manning 1159). Weekly check-in of the profile is enough to make
sure that the profile of user is secured. The main difference between Facebook, Twitter and
Linkedin is that Linkedin is considered for the specialized networks in addition to provides
profile and options to the network in the commerce sense while Facebook and Twitter is
