INTRODUCTION
Politics in turn is mainly related with the governance of the country which in turn aims at
improving the power and status of individual within organisation. This study will highlight on
the advantages and disadvantage of parliamentary system and presidential system of government.
PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM
Parliamentary system of the government in turn states that, the executive branch of the
government tends to get direct as well as indirect support from the parliament. Moreover, this
support in turn is largely shown by the vote of confidence. Hence, the relationship between the
legislature and executive within the parliamentary system in turn is referred to as responsible
government. Parliamentary system of the government in turn tends to have real executive power
which in turn has been vested within the cabinet which in turn is largely composed of members
of legislature. They are collectively and individually responsible to the legislature. They in turn
has been democratically elected as parliamentary government. One of the key advantage
associated with the parliamentary system is that it is easier and faster to pass any legislation. It is
considered to be one of the most unified parliament and executive. On the contrary, the major
disadvantage associated with the parliamentary system is that, it tends to result in unstable
government and the loss in confidence will result in replacement of Prime Minister and
Counsellor.

PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM
The Presidential system in turn is considered to be as the form of government where the
president in turn is considered to be as the Chief executive and in turn is directly elected by the
individual people. Within this system all the 3 branches i.,e legislative, executive and judiciary
in turn are constitutionally independent on each other. Hence, no branch can dissolve or dismiss
any other branch. There seems to be clear set of demarcation between legislative and executive
branch. The key advantage of the Presidential system is that, the head of the state in turn is
elected with the help of direct mandate. This in turn makes the authority of the president more
legitimate. On the contrary, the major disadvantage associated with the presidential system in
turn is that, there is a high degree of risk vesting within the authority. Another major
disadvantage is that, president with the government system in turn tends to take decision without
the support of the public.

Aweis: Hello Michael. How are you?
Michael: Hello Aweis. I am good. How are you doing?
Aweis: I am doing great. So, where do you live?
Michael: I live in Atlantic USA. Where do you live?
Aweis: I live in United Kingdom. The government has been performing great with the most
effective Parliamentary system of government.
Michael: Well, Presidential system is followed in USA, where the President of the country is
elected by the popular vote. Within this system all the 3 branches i.,e legislative, executive and
judiciary in turn are constitutionally independent on each other.
Aweis: I agree with that. Britain in turn is considered to be as the parliamentary monarchy. This
parliament is made up of bicameral parliament which mainly constitute of two houses i.e., House
of Lords and House of Common.

Michael: Within Presidential system, the executive power in turn is considered to be undivided
and the president in turn is elected by the individual people which in turn gives him
independence to take necessary decision within the branch.
Aweis: One of the major advantage of the Parliamentary government is that it is one of the most
efficient system which in turn helps in effectively imputing various legislations with the
governmental structure. Parliamentary system in turn is racially and ethically divided.
Michael: You are right! Parliamentary system tends to have their own advantages, but the
Presidential system of the USA has its own advantage. The key advantage of the presidential
system is that, it is very efficient and also tends to have unified parliamentary structure.
Aweis: Yeah right! But the major disadvantage associated with the presidential system is that,
separation of power in turn eventually results in indicating limited level of the accountability.
This results in high degree of blame game between legislature and executive.
Michael: I completely disagree with you Aweis. Parliamentary system comes with range of
disadvantages which includes high degree of power in turn is placed within the executive entity.
Parliamentary system is considered to be bicameral and in turn is considered to be unstable
system.
Aweis: It also has many advantages that, Parliamentary system in turn is less prone to the
authorization collapse. Prime minister of the country in turn tends to have high degree of focus
on voting for gaining political ideas.
Michael: Well I think Presidential system is better than Parliamentary system of UK because it
tends to make the president's authority more legit by carrying out direct set of elections. The
President of the country is in turn elected by the people directly which in turn makes the power
of the president more legitimate than of the leader who in turn has been appointed indirectly.
Aweis: Well, both the system has their own benefits and limitation related with the government
system. Both the country's has been performing exceptionally well within the specific
government system.

CONCLUSION
From the above carried out study it has been concluded that, Presidential system is better
than Parliamentary system of UK because it tends to make the authority of the President more
legitimate because they are elected by the people of the country. On the other hand, it has been
summarized that, parliamentary system is that it is easier and faster to pass any legislation.
