trust among patients, nurses need to exhibit
empathy and compassion

 Nurses need to develop cultural competency so that
they can provide care to patients, which not only
respect cultural traditions, rituals and mannerisms of
the culture of the patient but also overcomes
stereotypes and discriminatory behaviors and
prejudices of people coming from varied backgrounds
 competencies like acting with professional integrity,
managing professional boundaries in different case
scenarios, handling of conflicts of interests, and
several others are also required
