INTRODUCTION
Personal pitch is recognised as an overview of an individual the represents of concise summary
related to the experience and skills as a candidate (Pinxten and et. al., 2017). For graduate it is
very important to develop personal pitch in order to gain employment for the eminent career and
future progression as a graduate employee thereby addressing the key competencies. Foreign
graduate employee to meet the requirements related to the job specification and person
specification it is very important to gain the effective work-related skills that will help an
employee to seek better future job opportunities. In order to seek the post graduation it is very
important for an individual to suitably analyse the strengths and weaknesses and skills which will
contribute in the future progression thereby developing short term, medium term and long term
goals as a graduate. The present report will deliver presentation related to make a competency a
conducting a SWOT analysis further in the report the career prospects which will specify the
career pathway for the above competency using the short term medium term and long term goals
as a graduate. At last the report will highlight the progression opportunities justifying the
potential progression activities that will help in the end of the studies as a graduate.

Impact of gaps
According to the above SWOT analysis my weaknesses and gaps in skills, attributes, and attitude
will overall impact my work related life and also my imminent career progression and future
access to post-graduate employment. As I have no prior experience this might keep me away
from the job profile and vacancy that requires experience candidates (Tung, Tang and King,
2018). My poor practical knowledge can impact my interview and also my work performance in
working area because due to this there will be low productivity. My low communication and
presentation skills can badly impact my profile as in working environment these two skills are
highly important to communicate with clients, sub ordinates, fellow members and customers. My
lack of problem solving and decision making skills are also bad for my career growth as this will
puzzle me in decision making related to my life goals, career progression and also for my

decisions related to my post graduate employment. Hence the gaps in my skills, qualities,
attributes have bad impact on my resume for a job as a graduate.
Future training and development
In order to mitigate the gaps and convert them into strengths it is very important for me to enrol
myself into future training and development sessions. Model to develop and enhance my skills
qualities experience it is very important for me to be part of training and development for my
future career progression and to gain best job opportunities (Tian and (Chen, 2020). In order to
increase my communication and presentation skills it is essential for me to enrol myself into
communication and presentation skills learning classes as this will help me to understand the key
points required for making good presentation so that I did not like ok in meeting clients
requirement in my presentation and also able to gain their trust and loyalty thereby by becoming
more confident while presenting among other people in the meetings. It is very important for me
to be a part of training and development session where my lack of problem solving and decision
making skills can be mitigated as it is very essential for me to take appropriate decisions by
planning course of action. For me future training and development is highly essential in order to
mitigate the capsule that is not reflect to my career as a thread thereby keeping me on track of
continuous learning.

The justification of some of the potential progression activities and their associated potential
barrier in progression that I pursued to gain career growth and development and further to attain
post graduate employment are:
Gaining the leadership and management skills highly important for my future career as it will
help me in planning and managing the teams during the job can also help me to develop myself
with appropriate leadership style thereby making me responsible and accountable to manage the
various working activities for potential growth and career progression but it also contains some
progression barriers lack of encouragement and support of higher authorities and lack of
promotions and development opportunities which hinders my progression activities in a
significant manner (Zheng and et. al., 2021).
 For my career progression I have increased my I engagement towards academic and
practice based learning in order to attain the practical knowledge related to my subjects
which will help me to gain more experience understanding about the theoretical
knowledge thereby making me move towards opportunities where I can utilise both

practical and theoretical knowledge of subjects but I face barriers towards my career
progression such as lack of training and development ineligible training and lack of
finance.
I am increasing my skill set in a specific subject area there by assessing and observing the factors
that are required for enhancing of the skills in the specialist subject area which will required
teaching material and resources coaching and mentoring but I am facing the progression barrier
because of the and relevant teaching methods and strategies of the teachers and also training is
also inadequate (Kelly, 2017).
CONCLUSION
It is concluded from the above report that it is very important for an individual to gain skills
that will provide an individual to attain and develop professional career as a graduate. Therefore
it is very important to analysing key competencies that will help in recognising the shortcomings
which will be overcome using the opportunity and the strengths and to create the current path
which will direct towards the long term goals of achieving the good position in the work related
life. Hence, therefore is very important for a person to appropriately justify the potential
activities for the progress in the professional and the professional development and to analyse a
career development opportunity for graduate in the study sector.
