INTRODUCTION
Competitive strategies are those strategies which gives greater value and services at lower
process. These strategies help to compete with the other competitors. This report will explain
about the Higher education industry. Furthermore, it will explain about the theories implemented
on the sector, so that they improve their services to enhance the growth. Education sector is the
most important sector to enhance the technologies. Higher education sector provides different
universities, colleges, academies, seminars, institutes of technology. Higher education also
available in form of vocational schools, trade schools, career colleges, professional certificates
etc. this report is based on Higher education sector. Apart from this. It is a fast growing sector. It
helps to a million of students to get higher studies and make their career growth. Furthermore, it
will discuss about the business models and strategic development in the sector. Along with that
this report explain about the different external internal analysis which affects the business growth
and opportunities. This report will consider UKCBC. It is UK college of business and
computing. It is a leading educational institution in London. They provide various educational
plans and different vocational and professional qualifications

Business model in higher education has been the new evolution of the higher studies, in
terms of learning experience and growing technologies. Students in higher studies get
empowered with the business models(Madsen and Walker, 2015). The student in colleges get
affected socially and also in terms of thinking and adopting habits.
Business models in relevance to higher education
The Value Preposition: The colleges of higher studies would have to adopt the market
policies of globalization and technology. For increasing values for the students and making them
analyse the pertinence of the values in the global market.
Leadership: leadership is the vital form of business model where a person can learn and get
knowledge about the leading phenomena of a group or any functional organisation. Its relevancy
in education in terms of leading prospective. The students in the college learns to adopt the
methods to lead the people with the tendency to motivate them with the inspiring ideas(Peteraf
Gamble and Thompson 2014).

Decision making: In this model the students in higher education will be provided the
power of decision making which will improve the way of perfection to the issues or problems
faced in higher studies(Acquaah, Amoako-Gyampah and Jayaram, 2016).
Sustaining innovation: In the higher studies colleges should follow the procedure of
innovation and creative ideas which also leads students to create new ideas and views for the
betterment of the future.
Resources: There are enormous availability of shelf courses, courses should created and
taught to let them know the traditional resources and process combination, this could be utilized
by education in many ways such as ranging from disruptive sustenance for existing business
models(Siemens, Dawson and Lynch, 2013).
2. Strategic alliance
Strategies are the tool for the business organisation through which they learn and adopt
something new and different. These strategies give new opportunity to Higher education sector.
It helps to motivate candidate who apply for the same. From past many years' education sector
has been grown in the fastest manner. There are different models and strategies which helps
company to make new business plans. These all strategies help to measure the opportunities and
threats. Like PESTLE analysis model, this model helps business to identify the external
environment. It includes political, legal, social, technological and environmental. Political factor
evaluate the measure facts about the new policies of government. Educational sector also need to
evaluate external factors to make their education plans. It helps to set the educational fees and
business structure, apart from this model, another model is SWOT analysis. It also helps to
identify the internal and external opportunities and threats through which company have to face,
and identify the business plans. UKCBC is the popular name in education sector. It need to adopt
some new skills and tutorial material to increase their candidates. SWOT analysis includes
strength weaknesses opportunities and threats. For example after the analysing opportunity and
threats UKCBC decide to make new tutorial studies Because most of the candidates wants to
study from online(Johnes and Johnes, 2016.). This method of techniques gives more flexibility in
terms of study. Online studies are the most trendy ways to learn. Higher education universities
provide their own tutorials online and provide online test. In earlier times, when education sector
is not grown that much. That time students learn things through class rooms but now times has

changed(Knight, 2015). So these are the new techniques and models which they applied on the
education sector. Education sector is the fastest growing sector in the industry. Besides this,
Higher education sector gives many opportunities through which candidate set their
career(Altbach, 2015). On the basis of online clips, it was explained about the different models
of business strategies which helps company to make new plans and ideas. UKCBC is the leading
university in London Which gives different education tools. It also provides online lecture
facilities to give more flexibility to get knowledge. Apart from this business models helps this
sector to set their objectives and goals. These model helps to identify the business growth and
external opportunities. To compete with the other educational companies(Walker, Voce, and
Jenkins, 2016).
CONCLUSION
From the above discussion, it was concluded about the higher education sector. How its
work and how they develop their business plans. It helps generation to adopt new strategies and
ideas to make itself competitive. It will discuss about different approaches and strategies by
which company grow itself into competitive market. This report discussed about the UKCBC it
is a UK college of business and computing. It was concluded about their study plans and
strategies. It concluded the strategies and new techniques to enhance the Education sector. From
past 30 years. Many things have been changed in terms of education and industries. In earlier
times, education is based on theoretical and books, but now students learn from online and from
different methods.
