of the change in the functionalities in the process. The need for change can be happened due to
the changed condition of the market or the change in the requirements of the consumers and
market trend. In this case the change in the management for Composants Perfectionnes has been
done due to the economic downtime of the business. In this situation , in order to hold the
position in the competitive market the change in the management for the organization is
necessary.
Composants Perfectionnes is facing the downtime in the market. In this case, it is needed
for the company to change in the functioning and manufacturing of the projects and products. In
order to adopt the change in the management project, proper framework is needed to be
maintained. Some of the decision makings have been taken into order for the compilation of the
project regarding the change in the management. In order to do this proper framework has been
adopted. In this context Mackinsey’s 7S model has been applied. The justification for the
application of this model for the adopting the change in the management is that this model
considers all the aspects of the changes in the process. This model will help to implement the
new technology along with that it will also help to carry out the necessary steps regarding the
closing of the branches and steps in the cost cutting. The application of this model will provide
the strategic insight for the changes needed in the organization to adopt the change.

The car and automobile industry is facing the growing competition in the market. In this
case, certain changes are needed to be carried out in order to manage the growing competitive in
the market. In this case, it has to be mentioned that the industry is facing economic down time.
In this case, Composants Perfectionnes has decided to adopt some of the technological
disruptions along with the closing of one of its branch in UK.
Along with these changes , the organization has decided to increase the production at
the main branch at Blois, France. The decision regarding the increase of the production at this
branch has certain reasons. The infrastructure of this branch is in advanced position, however, it
is not producing enough products as per the requirements and its capability.
The justification for closing the production branch at UK is that , this branch has the
backdated technology that is used for the production. This increase the overhead cost of the
company which is not desirable in this situation. Apart from that the quality of the products
manufactured from this branch are not meeting the standards or the quality.
Apart from that the product development team of Didcot has been recognize as a
valuable team as this team has the knowledge and the talent for the innovation. In this case, the
relocation of the engineers from the Didcot team can be happened. It can be said that there is
alternate job opportunities for the employees from the Didcot centre. However, the relocation
of the employees from the UK plant may be few as many of them will not be suitable for
working in the new environment in France and Spain.
Answer to the question no 3:
The change in the management will bring certain challenges and the opportunities for the
organization. In this case Composants Perfectionnes will also face some of the challenges

regarding the change in the management. It has been seen that due to the closing of the plant in
UK, the employees at Didcot was surprised. The team at Didcot was staring a new project which
has the massive requirement. Closing of the plants may affect the progress of the project.
Apart from that the relocation of the employees may become a problem as it may be
possible that many of the employees are not relocated at the plans of Spain or France. In this
case, the job security of the employees can be hampered. However, some of the talented team
from this organization will be assigned to another work in the company.
The organization is adopting the policy of the cost cutting. In this case, there is a
possibility that the quality of the products may be compromised. Production of some of the
components can be stopped sue to this cost cutting. Apart from that the employees in the
company will face internal challenge through the chances for the loss of job.
