attainment of academic results. This is based on Phonemic awareness in which it helps
individuals connects words and images related to it. This ensures that sounds students
makes is an important role helps in retaining the reading course and in achievements of
the academic results.
Fluency: By this role students are able to recognise words at good pace by this they
recognising the word without decoding it. In the students group the words together with
the help of meaning and read out that word aloud which increases their reading fluency
because it is one of the most important skills in Reading comprehension. By this role

Evaluate obstacles in building comprehension and retention
Reading comprehension is a multi process where individual construct meaning as read out
the text (Ausubel, 2012). Reading comprehension is effective is leaders is active and have
prior knowledge about the reading material and does there are lot of problems related
with reading comprehension, some of them are as follows
Making connections: While reading comprehension it is important that readers make
connection with the writing styles but individuals start making predictions. There is a
need that students are excited about what they are reading by giving some background

reading and connect better while they are reading. This ensures that the level and is speed
also increase while reading comprehension and they overcome the issues related with
that.
Decoding difficulties: Students should need to make lot of efforts to decode the meaning
of the text and understand it fully. This is one of the major issues that student fees while
reading passages which is recording its meaning. For the student needs to make practice
of reading comprehension in day to day life so that this difficulty can be overcome
Reading goals: there is a need a student set reading goals on daily basis so that they can
analyse the main idea of the passage. This is one of the major drawback while building
comprehension and attention in Reading skills. To overcome this it is important that
students keep in mind about their academic results and work in direction to achieve them
(Cogmen and Saracaloglu, 2009).
Getting prior knowledge: this is one of the obstacles that student fees in Reading
comprehension is that they don't have any prior knowledge of background about the
information. It is not always accessible that students are backed up with the background
in reading skills and this makes it difficult to extract the exact meaning. This also creates
roadblock in the bath of achieving the desired results and Academic (Ozuru, Dempsey
and McNamara, 2009).
Vocabulary it is important that students have access and knowledge of vocabulary so that
they can understand the complete meaning of comprehension and retain it for long. This is
one of the major difficulty that individual faces because it is somehow impossible for a
person to learn each and every vocabulary and retain it for long. There are different online

dictionaries and sources which help students get the meaning on spot and related with the
context of the comprehension (Yildirim, Yildiz and Ates, 2011).
Identify main idea: it is difficult for students to identify the main idea and reading skills in
and as this is one of the main issues in comprehension and attention skills. Students are not
able to identify the main idea and reading will not be able to understand the big picture and
extract some meaningful information out of it which affect their performance in academics.
All the above point shows the obstacles that pertain in building comprehension on retention
in reading skills for student. There is a need that these difficulties are overcome and there is
increase in quality of learning so that academy results of students are higher.

person so that it's reading skills can be improved in qualitative terms. There are
different strategies by which comprehension and attention can be increased and above
difficulties can be overcome. First is monitor which means that students need to
analyse what they are reading and ask questions so that they can get the clear
understanding of the information ( Lei and et. al., 2010). It is equally important that
students take notes while reading so that they get the hint and retain the information
for long (Rahmani and Sadeghi, 2011).

connect with the written text. This insures that person is able to read and understand the
complete idea which is in written form and retain it for longer. There are different roles played
by comprehension and retention in improving quality of learning of students like decoding
what is based on phonemic awareness. Others are fluency, vocabulary, sentence construction,
reasoning knowledge, Etc. which are important in achieving Academy Results for students.

There're obstacle also like setting reading goals, difficulties and recording, Megan
connection, Etc. these need to be overcome in order to improve the quality of learning and
those students going to T their desired results in the Academics. In the last conclusions are
