INTRODUCTION
Project management is a systematic planning of developing the project among the team
member and distribute activities according to the capability and skill of team members. It is a
kind of planning, executing, controlling, monitoring the project among team member so as
determined objective can attain within a period of time and meet specific success criteria. In the
today's time, every business enterprise have some specific kind of objective and goal so in order
to attain that particular goal, company makes several kinds of strategies and tactics (Bredillet,
Yatim and Ruiz, 2010). Project management is a kind of strategy under which systematic
planning include for achieving objective. It is very significant tool and method for developing a
systematic planning and accomplishing the determined objective because by which company
professional and easily understand the actual requirement of the company and use such path to
address the objectives. With help of systematic project management, organisation can easily
develop a clear path and criteria to address the actual objective so as they can attain it within a
specific period of time. In the present assignment, Aject international company is going to
consortium that included three other corporations such as AJC, SPS and Orbit. With help of
these three companies, Aject international company is going to design project related to the
architecture and troubleshooting.

1 What is the project management?
In an organisation, project management is a systematic planning and systematic approach
to develop the solution of existing problem within company. In the project, various policies,
practices, procedure and planning is included to manage the project from conception through
completion. In the management of project, project manager have responsibility to lead hire,
handle, manage and train the staff members so as they can effectively understand and carry out
their responsibility to address the objective of project (Burke, 2013). In the project management,
various phases are included such as designing project goal, outline the phases that required to
achieve the goal, determined resources for accomplish the objective, identifying the time and
budget for each stage, finalised the project with appropriate outcomes. In a simple word it can be
said that project management includes the process of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring,
controlling and closing. In a simple word it can be said that project management is the
application of knowledge, skill, techniques and tools to project activities for meet the project

requirements. It is a process of directing and controlling the project from the starting to the
finishing stage.
2 What documentation is characteristics of project initiation?
There are some following essential characteristics in project management:-
The ideal project will create with the consistency, every project required to be held on the basis
of there identical standards for this only the aim and objective will cover.
The project should be flexible it requires with the acknowledgement where specific project
management needs accuracy, creative ideas, without flexibility degree the project survival is in
danger.
The process of project management is based on the transparency in nature, transparency
in project is a basic key that utilise the overall resources in the organisation.
The project should be based on a particular purpose with rational & the measurable aspects.
Based on the logical & project life cycle. The project established with the continuous
investigation & examinations of collected data.
It will help to rescue the problems created & some kind of conflicts.
3 What is the relationship between the project and organisation strategies?
While any organisation undertake the project for accomplishing some specific objective
and task then it is very important for company to develop some strategies and practices through
which it can effectively address the objective of project. There is direct relationship between the
organisation strategies and project management (Caniëls and Bakens, 2012). In the context of
case scenario, Aject international company's have strategies to pull together a consortium under
which it has made the contract with three other companies such as AJC, SPS and Orbit. With
help of these three companies, Aject corporation can develop an effective solution of the
problem and increase the efficiency across the company. Thus, it can be said that organisation
strategies and project have direct relation as company always develop such practices and tactics
though which it can meet the right solution of the project.
4 What is the meaning of project objective, outcome and benefits?
In the given scenario, Aject corporation have major objective of project is to develop best
fit solution of the problem and increase efficiency across the company. Aject delivered the
project manager and three of its 20 staff assisted in the project. In order to increase the efficiency
across the organisation and provide effective solution, cited venture have taken help with three

other companies such as AJC , SPS and Orbit (De Bakker, Boonstra and Wortmann, 2010). In
this mentioned case of Aject, project objective is to increase efficiency and effectiveness across
the company and provide effective solution to company system. The major benefit of project is
to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the project through which deadline can effectively
meet within a appropriate time period. Its another benefit is to improve growth and development
within the team. It helps in greater standing and competitive edge and enhance customer
satisfaction.
5 Who are a project stakeholder?
In the given case scenario, the major stakeholder of the project is those people who are
directly and indirectly affected by the each activities of project management such as investors,
project team members, customer, project sponsor, executives, resource managers, project
managers, etc. In this given project, AJC, SPS and Orbit is major companies who is helping
Aject international company in increasing efficiency and develop effective solution (Heising,
2012). In this project, customer is major stakeholder who is directly affected by the project
because they use the product and services of the organisation. In addition to this, project team
members is another important stakeholder who develop and manage the project for
accomplishing its task.
6 What is the key area of governance?
Governance refers to the set of responsibilities, policies, regulations, functions procedure
through which project can control and manage. An effective government develop an effective
goal, responsibilities and performance of the project. With help of this, project manger can able
to control and monitor the project and accomplish it within a specific time period. It ensures that
all stakeholder can engage at a level and meet the target accordingly (Hwang and Tan, 2012). It
develops the strict policies, procedure and planning through which systematic program of the
project can organise and attain the objective within a time period. An effective governance
should also accountable, transparent, responsive, participating and consensus oriented. With
assistance of this governance, project manager can easily develop an effective policy, structure,
rules, regulation, practices through which project can effectively organise and meet its deadline
and objective.

7 Implication of various form of organisation structure on the project management?
While any organisation develop the project then its structure and system plays a very
crucial role within it. An organisation structure is that system under which defines how
organisation task and program can organise, allocate, coordinate and supervise for achieving the
organisation objective and aim (Jun, Qiuzhen and Qingguo, 2011). In order to attain the project
goal, organisation structure plays a very crucial role because according to the company structure,
project task can allocate, coordinate and supervise among the team member who participate in
project management. According to the organisation structure, roles, responsibility, planning of
the project can conducted within the company and each project participants can coordinate with
each other.
8 What is a project charter?
Project charter is a document that incorporates the project and appoints the project
managers. There are several kinds of project which operate and control within the project
charter. It is a mind of document which incorporate and appoint to the project manager and
under which includes various information related to the project objective, purpose, success
criteria, high level requirements, assumption and constraints, risk, summary milestones
schedules etc (Kerzner, 2013). Project charter provides a preliminary declination of roles and
responsibilities, project objective, outlines and identifying the main stakeholders. With help of
project charter, project manager can easily understand the objective and purpose of the project.
It is an act between the project sponsor, key stakeholders and project team.
9 What triggers can lead to a project charter?
Project charter includes the description of the business and charter collects the objective,
scope and implementation of plan about the project. In the process of project charter various

summary, detail and baseline of the document. In the project management plan, various kinds of
components are included such asd requirement management plan, change management plan,
process improvement plan, schedule, baseline for scope , cost etc. In the given case scenario, the
project management plan includes the al activities and schedule which is going to conduct by the
three organisation such as AJS, SPA and Orbit etc in order to improve the efficiency and provide
an effective solution of the problem.
2 What deliverables might be expected from a project?
In the project management, deliverable are that product and services which is given to the
customer. It may be tangible, measurable, intangible, specific etc. It can be given to either an
external and internal customers (Lee and Yu, 2012). It can be a kind of software product,
training, design document etc which is needed in the planning of project. In the given case
scenario, Aject international company delivers the software related product and services to its
customer so by the project management, company can improve its software system services and
enhance the efficiency across the company. With help of this, it can effectively meet the
requirement of customer related to the software services.
3 Explain the application of plan, do , check, act cycle in the project management?
The Project management is the application which work on the following 5 important
Phases are:-
Project Initiation:-
Project Planning:- The key of this phase is he proper & systematic planning will created
with the two basic methods, S.M.A.R.T Goals-Specific(Who, What, Where, When, Which
&Why), Measurable(create criteria which is used to measure the success goal of the project),
Attainable(Identification of the most important goal and the reasoned arise to achieving them,
Realistic(It should be willing to work towards the particular goal only, Timely(It is on the time-
frame)
Project Execution:-This phase have some key aspects- help to development in team, work
on assigned resources, execution of management project plans, Procurement management also

progress. Under this system there are key performance indicators which indicate the proper
situation of the present project executed.
Project Closure:- the project is for the certain period, in this stage the documents &
deliverables are collected.
4 List of the five process group
In the project management, there are five essential area or process groups which are as follows-
Initiating process group- In this process group includes processes, activities and skilled
which required to conduct the project in an effective manner. With help of this group
process, project manager can set all initial target and work through which determined
objective of project can attain (Hu and Bie, 2016).
Planning process group- In this process includes scope of the project, strategic plan and
maximise workflow. In this group process, manager develop the planning of the project
along with its all team member and develop the strategies to meet the project objective
within a period of time.
Executing process group-In this group process includes the managing teams in an
effective manner. In this project manager utilise the communications kill in order to
execute the planning of the project management (Killen and Hunt, 2010).
Monitoring and control process group- In this process group, project manager focus on
the activities by which entire planning and execution of the project can control and
monitor in an effective manner (Lakemond and Tell, 2016).
Closing process group- In this stage, project manager finally close the project on the time
and within budget. In this stage, all member of the project can wind up the project
according to the time period.

As per the above discussion it has been analysed that in order to implement the process
group in the project integration, each group process is equal participate such as initiation,

the group in the project management, project manager and its project team member required to

human resource it is impossible to complete the project within deadline.

Quality- It is very important for the project manager to maintain the quality standard.
