1 About me-
I am [Name] a residence of Abu Dhabi - UAE. I have done my B.S. in Computer
Engineering, from the University of Cebu, Philippines in the year of 17/3/2000.
I am a person with good verbal skills and excellent skills in communication orienting English
and Arabic language. Can work under pressure. Have good reporting and coordination skills.
A person who is always willing to learn and build knowledge.

I have an experience of 17 years, since 1/10/2001, as an ICT head and also a computer
teacher in IGCSE and also for HS students at Al Dhafra Private School in Abu Dhabi till
date.
1. List of responsibilities-
Computer instructor in Al Dhafra Private School, Abu Dhabi, Expertise- British
curriculum and American curriculum.
Teacher of ICT and computer science for IGCSE British curriculum. Achieved grades
in between “A* - C” throughout the teaching career.
Teacher on ICT curriculum in “Virginia standard” MS Office, Networking apart from
teaching duties, Hardware and introduction to computers, also responsible in the
division of IT and maintain the computers, software, hardware, network, printers and
many more fields.
Head of ICT for leading motivating, developing and managing the team of ICT for

3 What is the purpose of a portfolio?
The portfolio is intended to act as an important tool that will help in certain areas. The
purpose of the portfolio is to develop, reflect ad to clarify the philosophy of teaching, the
methods and the approaches of teaching. It is intended to present the credentials of teaching
in case to hire and to promote in a position of academics. It is also intended for developing
the document professional in teaching. Also to find out the areas of improvement and for
preparing the interview process. The standard that is followed are:
The professional development in case of the teachers of science is a lifelong and
continuous process.
There distinctions of tradition in between the targets, supporters and the sources for
the development activities of the teachers are artificial.
The view of convention of professional development in case of the teachers must be
shifted form the technical training for different skills towards the opportunities for the
growth of intellectual professional.
The transforming school process require the opportunities of professional

4 Philosophy and Beliefs
My first philosophy
The philosophy of education in which I belief is that all the children are unique from
each other thus they must have a stimulating nature of educational environment, where from
they will be able to grow mentally, socially, physically and emotionally. It is the desire of
mine for creating this type environment in which the students will be able to meet their full
potential. It is intended to give a secure environment in which the students are always invited
for sharing the ideas they have and will be able to take risk. At present parents are concerned
about the grades of their wards and they are least bothered about their interests and the
subject or sphere they want to go into. According to my philosophy every child is blessed
with some or other talent and the parents should recognise their children’s potential and must
encourage them to take up what they yearn to do. Peer pressure has a negative effect on the
children and the worst is when they are pushed to choose streams that their parents dreamt to
go with but due to some or other reason were not able to pursue the same. A teacher and the
environment in the school play a vital role in a student’s life. School is considered to be the
second home of a child and the environment there matters as a student spends a lot of time in
school. The teachers are responsible for moulding the students and making them realise their
actual potential. My philosophy is that children should be allowed to follow their passion and
not forced to take up any profession just because their friends are pursuing that option. Thus
teachers can not only guide the students but also convince their parents to support their wards
in the decision they are taking and encourage them.

My second philosophy
I believe that all the child are unique, and they always have something special with
them which they can bring into education. I always assist the students for expressing
themselves and accepting themselves on the way they are, the difference among themselves
are also embraced.
All the classrooms have its unique community, the role of mine is to assist all the
children for developing the potential on their own and their own style of learning. I will
provide a curriculum which will incorporate different learning style for different students. I
will also incorporate cooperative learning, themes, hands-on learning, projects and individual
works which will engage and also activate the learning for the students.
The above mentioned philosophy is related to myself. As I am a computer science
student and related to teaching on the department of computer science and ICT, I am always
willing to develop an atmosphere of technology where the students will be able to have a
better way of learning. I have a 17 years of experience in the field of teaching, I know how to
guide the students, besides I have worked as of various roles in different fields of teaching, I
have great ideas on how to handle the students and the way to provide them the best
environment for studding and to make them do the most efficient activities.

My third philosophy
It is to be noted that a classroom must be safe, all the students should be free to speak
on everything they have in their mind. Various strategies should be used for ensuring the
community of classroom which may include the meetings in morning, both negative and the
positive disciplines, the jobs of the classroom and different skills of problem solving.
Teaching is also a type of process that teaches the students, parents, communities and the
colleagues. This is a process where different new strategies can be learnt, new ideas and also
new philosophies. Though the philosophy of education may change with respect to time.
5 Professional standards
Our different assumptions are explained about the type of experiences of professional
development and also about context in which place frame is taken for the standards of
professional developments (van Wyk, 2017).
The professional development in case of the teachers of science is a lifelong and
continuous process.

of skills is also something that is followed by me which must be pursued in the career. Skill
development is important in case of the overall improvement of a child and schools should
organize skill development classes and seminars to enhance the same. The regular sessions
organised on the skill development will help the students to recognise their skill and at the
same time they can enhance the same and decide their future streams and get a clear
perception of their career options (Ingvarson, 2018). According to me professionalism should
be kept in mind in any profession that is being pursued. The person pursuing a certain
profession must abide by the values related to the same.

In case to promote developing of various learning skills and different learner engagement

Communication skills help in interaction and bridge the gap in between individuals.

his profession and pave a path for his better future. It is effective in preventing
misunderstanding and at the same time provides defined policies.
