Introduction
The report is prepared for Singapore gaming Academy for up gradation of the current
networking environment and increase the efficiency of the current business process. The new
network proposal is created for implementation of the VOIP support and division of the network
into different subnets. The proposed network would help the organization to accommodate the
future growth of the organization.
Objectives
The main objective found for the development of the network solution is meeting all the
requirement of the organization. The network is prepared for increasing the redundancy and the
reducing the downtime of the network. The network design is created for handling the errors and
respond to the users and it does not interrupt the business operations. The servers are installed in
a dmz zone where it is protected from the student and the staffs for physical access. Network
protocol analyzer is used for monitoring the flow of the data in the network and secure the
network from illegal access. A well planned disaster recovery system is prepared such that the
data would be recovered after any impact of the network. The other objective is to keep the
network available for the users and no loss of data should occur due to non-availability of the
bandwidth. Separate communication channels are used for the sending and receiving of the data
and voice packets in the network. The staffs should be trained for using the technical device such
as the biometric in the network and reduce the misuse of the resources and network bandwidth.
Business Impact analysis
A business continuity plan should be created for the evaluation of the requirement of the
organization and align the network solution to meet the current needs. The risk associated with

the network should be evaluated and a risk should ranked according to the severity for
preparation of thee risk mitigation plan. For improvement of the security of the network a
penetration testing can be done for finding the weak points of the network and secure the
network with the application of encryption algorithm. The same medium is used for the
transferring of the data and the voice packets in the network and it can cause jitter and delay to
reach to the destination node. A high quality network medium should be used for the
transmission of the data packets in the network and redundant path should be available such if a
channel is down the data [packet can reach using the other medium.
Recovery Strategy
For increasing the efficiency of the network the recovery is important and the network
should never be down. A mirror server and backup setup should be created such that it can be
connected with the network for handling the emergency condition and reduce the loss of the
organization. The backup device should also be secured from external access because it can also
be used by the intruder as a backdoor for gaining the access of the current network elements. The
backup of the information should be kept in remote location and cloud servers can be used for
backing up the data. The data residing in the cloud servers should be encrypted such that it
cannot be used by unauthorized used for illegal activity. Moreover moving of the data in cloud
servers helps in recovery of data in case of natural disaster like landslide, earthquakes, etc.
The network can also fail due to extra load on the server and a load balancing should be
maintained for dividing the loads to multiple servers installed in the network and increase the
efficiency of the network solution. The virtualization of the server can also help in handling more
number of request from the client and utilization of the resources efficiently. Implementation of

the backup power should also be installed for handling emergency condition such as power
outrage and recover from emergency situation.
Development of the Plan
After the development of the business continuity plan and the recovery strategy a
network development team should be created for the configuration and deployment of the
hardware device and securing them from unauthorized access. The risk should be eliminated in
the early stage of development of the network solution for improvement of the quality of service
of the network solution. For the development of the network solution a list of the users and the
hardware to be installed in the network should be listed and the cost of the hardware device
should also be calculated. The budget should be approved from the client for implementation of
then network solution in Singapore Gaming Academy.
Implementation of IPv6 addressing
The network solution prepared for Singapore gaming academy needs to be configured
with Ipv6 addressing scheme for allowing the networks that are configured with Ipv6 address to
communicate. The current network uses old devices that does not support Ipv6 address scheme
and thus they needs to be replaced and the new device needs to be configured with dual stack
network. The routers for each of the department needs to be configured to generate a dhcp pool
and auto assign an Ipv6 address to all the device connected in the network.
Redundancy
The proposed network solution is created for Singapore gaming academy and the network
are is made available to the users all the time. Multiple connection are used for reaching different
points in the network and the resources are made available. The user can send and receive data in

the network using different channels in the network and redundancy in the path can reduce the
congestion.
Testing of the network
For the testing of the network solution a prototype of the network is configured in cisco
packet tracer and configured according to the requirement. The devices used in the network are
pinged with each other for testing the connectivity between the devices. For the testing of the
network IDS and IPS is applied and the flow of the packets are monitored for analyzing the
performance of the network. The network should be tested at a regular interval of time for
finding the flaws and resolve the errors and secure the different operations and handle emergency
conditions.
Conclusion
It can be finished up from the above report that the present foundation of Singapore
Gaming Academy isn't secure and it ought to be produced for expanding the unwavering quality
and lessening the system downtime. A future confirmation arrange arrangement is recommended
for the association and the current issues are distinguished for the moderation of the issues and
build up a system outline. The made system arrangement addresses every one of the issues of the
association and remote access point are introduced in the system for expanding the adaptability
of the system. The VOIP convention is utilized for execution of communication benefit in the
system and diverse system channels are utilized for information and voice for development of the
nature of administration and diminishing blockage in the system.
