Dear Recruitment Manager,
The purpose of writing this letter is to apply for an internship program of Fintech at the UBS
group. I have gone through your program which I perceive as the greatest and I will be real
honoured to participate within your group. I have faith in myself that I will be a worthy
candidate within your internship program team.
I have acquired a greater deal of understanding and gathered knowledge in mathematics and
computer science during two years of preparatory classes at the National Institute of Applied
science (INSA). Further, I have acquired specialization in statistics and programing, web
development and as a result, I feel competent enough to work with you and also refine my
knowledge to perfection.
Currently, I am enrolled in a master’s program at Polytech Nice where the subject studies are
aligned towards Finance and Applied mathematics with a background in Computer Science. I
have gained a substantial amount of knowledge for my subject through a multitude of groups'
projects where teamwork and communication are key to success. Recently I have been
working on a pricing model of binomial options where the CRR model was implemented
using Python. During the last internship, I was successful in developing a web app for a bank.
The app was able to access and manage multiple entities and subsystems. Here I utilised the
SQL along with PHP for developing the backend and utilise JavaScript along with CSS for
the frontend.
I feel that I can bring value to your team and also this internship program would help me in
