Due to number of interventions take place in technology at a fast speed from my
childhood, I had an interest in computers and technology. New articles about technical
interventions always motivate me to pursue my studies in the field of technology. Wide scope in
the field of technology and boundless application fascinate me to choose the branch of computer
science. My interest towards computer science always motivated me to learn more about this
field and this is the reason that during my education of high school, I start to come and learn
more about basic fundamentals of computer programming. At the time of left my school I gained
good and effective information about C and C++ language.s
After my higher education, I focused more on completing my bachelor of information
technology offered by Easwari Engineering College, Anna University. During my 1st year of
college, I learnt about basic fundamental concepts and started doing coding in C programs.
Further, I spent relevant amount of time to learn concepts of computer science. Along with this, I
learnt more about software and mathematical principles.
During my second and third year of engineering, I learnt more about different languages
and concepts which include C++, Java and technologies like DBMS, XML and computer
networking. Java is one of the most powerful languages and understanding of this helped me out
in my mini project research. Payroll management system was my first project which helped me
to learn about creating a pay slip for an employee working in an organisation. Along with this,
the other project which I completed was banking system in which I learnt about the working of
creation, withdrawal and deposit. I also participated in programming event conducted by
Ubertech in which I won third price.
Along with the interest in technology and computers, I had a craze for electronic and
apart from my curriculum, I learnt how an electronic device works along with understanding
principles of handling the same and these concepts enhanced my knowledge.
After that, I worked for 2 years in the UK based MNC called SOPRA STERIA as a
software engineer in Chennai. During my work experience, I learnt more about technical skills.
At the starting age of my work, I didn't receive any kind of opportunity but due to my
active participation, I promoted the subject matter expert of my team through which I got the
opportunity to work in various automation projects. Further, I designed various automation tools

that help in delivering updates to clients without any kind of human intervention. I participated in
various competition programmes which are conducted by the enterprise and after that, I was
awarded in top five codes of the firm. This increased my knowledge and helped me to achieve a
great honour.
Due to subject expert in taxable matter, I handled various big and complex problems
which gave me a change to explore my knowledge in different areas. During my work
experience, I got a project and for that, I had little time to fulfil the requirements and in that case,
I found an alternative solution which was simpler and easier than previous algorithm as well as it
reduced the complexities related with that project. This is effective for both time and cost of
handling the issues of project. I received huge amount of gratitude for my smart work and a star
award from my- enterprise for my dedication and hard efforts.
From my study and work experience, presently, I have a great knowledge in the field of
computer and technology. With my strong knowledge, I can complete my masters in US. I
collected a large amount of information about universities in California and made a strong
decision to continue my study in these universities. I think that by taking admission in this
university, I will get number of opportunities to apply my skills and further, I also get number of
chances to explore my knowledge. I can learn more about concept of technology and computers
with increasing my learning in the field of electronics.
