Part A: Justification
I had used my interpersonal skills to complete the report writing successfully. I had
interacted with the tutor to take their advice and suggestion to search the key terms for collecting
information. I had learnt to create positive impression on the tutor by listening and interacting
with them when I faced issues in report writing. My writing as well as interpersonal
communication skills help me to success in my work. I had also interacted with my colleagues to
know how to form a good structure of the report.
I had used my reading skills to develop an academic document by understanding the
interpretation of author. While searching for the journal articles, I had used my reading skills to
perform an in-depth analysis of the article and gather information to answer the assignment
question by taking of notes.
My university study has involved me working into a team. My teamwork skills help me
to collaborate with the team members for planning, solving, evaluating and reporting
presentation documents. I had involved into gathering of materials and data on selected
presentation topic. I had involved into conducting of regular meetings for drafting the report and
discussing the issues with lecturer. I should use my leadership skills to motivate the other team
members for working into presentation.
In my assessment “Network and information security technologies”, I had discussed
importance of ethical behaviors, social and privacy with legal aspects within ICT domain. It
helps to understand the security of the information and data. Sometimes, I observed that my
personal information related to presentation is accessible by others. It threatens my privacy and
reduces amount of control over the personal data.
While working in this presentation, I had worked with different people those are coming
from different cultural groups. I had build trust as well as understanding among the group
members so that they can share their own ideas with me. At first I had to gain knowledge on my
own culture to understand the cultures of others.

I had analyzed that ICT technologies can improve the organizational processes. The
organization is used of ICT devices and also equipments to improve performance as well as
customer satisfaction. ICT helps to improve the responsiveness of organization towards new
development. It introduces a paradigm shift within the organization by helping into evaluation of
the advanced technologies. With an aim to safe the network using technology, I had selected a
router with feature of encryption. Therefore, in my point of view, wireless network security is
common in the organization to provide wireless networks to the team members so that they can
access internet.
The two communication and collaboration technologies used in the organization are
groupware and teleconferencing. Groupware allows communicating and also collaborating
together into remote locations. It benefited the users by permitting them to share update about
appointments, emails and databases. The benefit of teleconferencing is that it has the capability
to conduct audio as well as visual meeting throughout telecommunication channel. The team
members are connected electronically for interacting with each other.
Part B: Feedback
I had liked that this unit provided me an opportunity to analyze my own experience to
document a report. This assignment task helps to assess my skills into thinking critically, search
for the required data, forming ideas based on my own opinions well as capacity to hold up
arguments quoted from the literature. I had liked to conduct an in-depth analysis of the security
technologies to secure personal data and information. Technologies are used when the users
conduct commercial transactions and exchange of sensitive information. From this unit, I had got
to know about various network and security technologies currently available in the market.
I had suggested that this unit should improve training courses in the future to provide
training to the trainers on the process to structure a report. Other is to ask people on the course to
provide their feedback on the report so that people can identify their mistakes.
