INTRODUCTION
Computer skills are those which enables an individual to utilize computer and related
technology in an efficient way. These skills includes Microsoft Office, Power Point, Quick
Books, Email, Spreadsheets, Microsoft Assess, Graphic and writing skills etc. Today, the
economy is technologically oriented and employees who have strong computer skills or
knowledge fare better in job market instead of their tech challenged counterparts (Campbell and
Wynne, 2011). This assignment is based on Car Dealership company which specialize in selling
of mid range second hand cars. In this report, data of motor vehicle firm is analysed so that
employee with highest contribution in sale revenue can be determined and appraised by bonus.
Apart from this, benefits of Microsoft Office and technological advancements in increasing
business productivity is defined in the project.

2.Data analysis and interpretation:
From the data worksheet of employee's monthly sales, it is analysed that car dealership
company earns good amount of sales revenue. As per the above data view sheet, contribution of
employee B and D is high towards company, i.e., £811000 and £631000 and they also earn
bonus. Maximum cost is involved by firm in month of June which is £230000 whereas in
January, involved cost is minimum, i.e., £165385. Five employees are working in car dealership
company named as A, B, C, D and E whose minimum contribution in sales are £2,00,000 per
month (Dorf and Bishop, 2011). Highest sales by all employees is earned in June month, i.e.,
£2,99,000.
For increasing motivation level of employees and encouraging them to work towards
attaining high productivity and profitability, firm provides bonus to them. Target sales of
£6,00,000 is achieved by employee B and D and earn bonus. At last, overall sales earned by
employees in year 2017 is £ 3001000 as well as total cost incurred is £2308462. It means, annual
profit earn by car dealership company is £6,92,540 which shows that firm is earning high
incomes and revenues.

Microsoft Office refers as a server, client software and services that are developed by
Microsoft for satisfying informative technological needs of clients. In today's technological
scenario, constant challenges are face by businesses in order to increase their productivity and
profitability. This software administers new technology to company that helps in improving
business processes and earning high revenues (Khan and et. al., 2012). It also assists company in
increasing its data security. The main purpose of office suite is to maximize integration which
can assist in improving efficiency and effectiveness level of car dealership company. Various
applications and range of software of Microsoft Office involves Power Point, Word, Excel,
Outlook, One Note, Skype, Access, InfoPath etc. These application and software assists
company in creating presentations, documents and spreadsheets that are essential in day to day
business activities. Some benefits of Microsoft Office in increasing business productivity are
defined below:

It is the industry standard word processing program utilizing on computers. By this, car
dealership company prepare documents and complete various other functions concerned with
word processing. Some benefits of Microsoft Word are defined below:

The main benefit to firm of using Microsoft Word is that it integrates easily with other
Office programs. For instance: By spreadsheet, Microsoft Excel can easily be created and paste

company deals in automotive sector which is the growing one. So, for gaining high competitive
advantage in market, firm must implement technological advancements in its processes which
are defined below:

company as it helps providing personalized experience. By the assistance of this technology, an
informative system is provided in vehicles which will benefit customers by user interface and

advancements like self driving technology, car as a service etc. can also be utilize for improving
business productivity.

As per the above mentioned report, it has been concluded that technological
advancements and computer skills play crucial role in increasing productivity of firm. Microsoft
Excel helps in graphical representation and easy storage of data. There are various technologies
such as artificial intelligence, fuel efficient technology and businesses applications like internet
and cloud computing are available. Implementation of these technologies provides competitive
edge to company and improves productivity as well in an effective manner.
