CONCLUSION-
Scope-
Computerized accounting system is a technology that helps companies handle multiple business
transactions, information, records, and accounts with high effectiveness, velocity, and precision.
Higher quality work, reduced operational costs, greater effectiveness, higher precision, lowest
possible mistakes are some of Computerized Accounting's benefits. Let's learn more about the
setting of computerized accounting.
Aim-
Fundamentals of accounting don’t change whether the books of accounting are maintained
manually or computerised. Computerized accounting helps in automating and integrating all entity
operations such as sales, finance and other things (P Machera and C Machera, 2017). Fast and accurate
data entry of transactions can be carried out in huge numbers without compromising the speed and
efficiency of the software.
In order to maintain financial records and vouchers, manual accounting system needs big space. The
amount of transactions depends on the necessity of books and office supplies and account books
along with vouchers and records. Reducing the documentation and dispensing with a big quantity of
account books is necessary. Using the computerized accounting system, this can be accomplished.
Introducing Accounting software in an entity leads to instant reporting and quick decision making
(Mancini, Vaassen and Dameri, 2013).
Objectives-
Accounting Software results in reduced mathematical error, improvement in quality of work and also
eases everyday job. Nowadays, staffs in most entities are already aware of such software and also
have used it but that doesn’t mean we should discard staffs that are used to doing accounting on
paper. Proper training program must be run in entity to ensure that everyone must be given
opportunity in these changing times of technology as fundamentals of accounting remain the same
(Hoggett, 2017) and in the long run it only benefits the entity itself.
