THE HEALTH INFORMATICS
PROJECT
The project is based on the development of Computerized Provider Order
Entry (CPOE) systems
It develops an application for medical order entry for management of medical
orders
These systems would be executed in clinics and hospitals based on the
improvement of safety systems and reduction of medical errors (Forrester et
al., 2014)
It would also improve the patient wellbeing conditions and implement better
medical order dispatch processes

SELECTION OF PERFORMANCE
MEASUREMENTS
Based on the selection of performance measurements based on CPOE, it can be
summarized that:
CPOE systems would be analyzed with Clinical Decision Support (CDS) systems.
Data would be collected from hospital database systems based on time and
data stamps (Netherton et al., 2014).
The CPOE framework has been analyzed to understand that this framework
would decrease the complications within medicine ordering process.
