Introduction
The report is being constructed as a Managing Director aiming to make understand the
staff of Healy organisation about information technology and its advancement. It will also
enlighten the fact that how the progress of IT can help in achieving increase in productivity as
well as quality for the organisation. In making the staff understand, the report emphasizes on the
three features of office productivity that can increase the productivity of the organisation and will
also emphasis on how the advancement of technology can help to increase business productivity.
Three feature of office productivity
The three features of office productivity that are used in the report are as follows:
For word processing features graphical object is been selected
For presentation software features slides is selected
For spreadsheet software features chart and graphs is selected.
Inserting graphical object like picture, images or drawn objects within the word
document is very much beneficiary for the user. Word is generally considered a feature where
text can be written. The feature of inserting the images and drawing objects helps in describing
the written documents more clearly. For instance if something is written on the economic growth
of a business from a certain year to the current year it is required to describe the features with the
help of numerical data and graphical data (Bernstein et al. 2015). This numerical data and
graphical data can be inserted in form of images that will help in describing the economical
growth of the organisation along with the written document.

The good practices in designing slide content are as follows:
The slide should be made visual. If the slide is made only by writing text then it makes
the viewer bored and loss of interests in seeing the presentation. The utilisation of
images, charts, videos and graphs helps to break the word anatomy.
The title slide should be a stand out one. The title slide can be made a stand out one by
making the title page visually engaged with enticed titles, which will draw the attraction
of audience (Ehlen et al. 2015).
The content of the slide should not say every detail of the presentation. It should be
designed in such a way that it should only highlight the significant points and the speaker
will provide the detail while giving the presentation.
The types of slide layout are:

Most known trend in technology is exponential growth in power of computing. The significant of
a computer is the Central Processing Unit. In the advancement of hardware technology, it is seen
that for every eighteen months in market there is an introduction of high speed CPU. The trend
when followed for last ten years it is observed that CPU’S power factor has gained an increase of
100 times. The impact of this change in hardware has positive effect on the organisation. The
tasks that required one hour for completing now require a minute. Therefore, the organisation
can gained huge benefits by the help of the fast CPU for completing their work and achieve more

amazing. Tasks, which were once very much complicated for being automated can be easily
solved now through these fast computing machines. The reduction in costs of the advanced CPU
can also helped organisation in introducing it to their structures.
Not only there is advancement in CPU in terms of its speed and cost for the last ten years
but there is also advancement in Dynamic Random Access Memory. It provides the space of
working for the computer systems. The size of memory has increased by a factor of 100 for the
last decade. It allows the computation to be fast and it allows the working ability of system for
vast amounts of data set (Wong and Salahuddin 2015). This was not possible before. Fast
computation and working on vast data set can give the business their desired advantages.
Another advancement in hardware technology is the increased in storage space. Prior to
ten years, the organisation could never think of storing bulk amount of data in their system.
Therefore, the important data, which could help the organisation for comparing their growth and
analysing the market were been removed from the system. In recent times, it is seen that the
advancement of hardware technology has introduced the hard disks of higher capacity.
Therefore, the organisation now can store their significant information for longer time for future
reference. In recent era, the advancement of hardware technology also introduced external
hardware devices.
Along with the advancement of hardware technology, there is also a high progress
observed for software technology. The software advances marked with the advancement of
accounting software. Accounting software known as Account Information system is one of the
major software tools, which helped the business to complete their task without any error.
Accounts, which is known as the heart of business were been performed manually. Therefore,

information to be much accurate and appropriate. The information achieves by integrating other
information is reliable and robust and therefore it helps in the process of decision-making (Xu
and Zhao 2016). This process incorporates statistical methods like Bayesian techniques and
modelling of random effect.
Conclusion
The result for the improvement in speed of the hardware for computation as well as
efficiency for the software helped the organisation to achieve benefit by increasing their
productivity. The tasks which were once thought to be not doable in the computer system can
now be done at a lowest possible cost by running the advanced software on the innovated
hardware technology. The improvement of computer technology may help in providing excellent
service delivery to the clients. It helps the organisation for better decision-making. The financial
management can be done excellently with these new technologies. It helps in development of
staff through new skills. Therefore, the staff of Heally organisation can gain certain benefits with
the implementation of computer technologies. The management can also gain increase in
productivity by implementing computer technologies.
