Personal Reflection
According to the brain diagram, my personality spectrum is a thinker. The personality of
a thinker has strengths in solving problems by creating new models and systems. Perform best in
projects that require analytical skills and solving problems. I dislike the repetitive tasks since
they are annoying, and I love exploring new things. I love relationships that allow freedom and
independence and allow time alone for thinking and reading. I learn best in quiet times to reflect
on new ideas. More importantly, it becomes easier to learn when the information is converted
into logical charts and graphs as the help interpretation of a concept easier. My best teaching
style would be using participative style where student engagement is highly valued, thereby
making it fun and active.
The learning journey has been a success due to understanding the best study techniques
that improved my mastery and retention of concepts. Three learning styles improved y learning
outcomes which included pre-test and paraphrasing and reflecting. Pre-test helped me in gaining
the curiosity to know the answers to question and explore more learning materials (Rivera et al.,
2019). After exploring the concepts on my own, I would paraphrase using the most
straightforward language or how I understood and then reflect on what I had learnt at each
learning period.
The end of the journey is the beginning of another. The knowledge will help me practice
what was acquired as well as set the pace to further my studies. It is my wish that I will be able
to continue to the university for masters and later for a PhD. To accomplish this plan, it will
require a considerable amount of money. The first step in preparing the plan is to seek
employment to practice my career and also to gather funds for paying university fees and find

scholarships. The second step is analyzing different universities that offer my career
specialization to ensure that I have a variety of options when the time comes.
Despite the benefit that I have acquired through improving knowledge, I was able to
discover that I can make a good leader, work better under pressure and love engaging in fun
activities. Besides, the semester was tough and required a lot of commitments. Through
commitment, I accomplished better performance according to what I expected and making the
best out of my free time by joining community work projects. Further, the course has helped me
to set Specific, measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely (Chan et al., 2018). The learning
has in sighted me to raise and invest $ 5,000 in my own business after two years of leaving
college as a way to boost my financial success. For personal development, I will engage in
exercising for physical fitness to be active and ensure wellness.
In the course of my learning, I have understood that personal wellness is equally essential
in the delivery of expected outcomes in education. Therefore, I intend to engage in stress
management wellness program offered through counselling. Further, I will engage in physical
fitness activities which will help to improve mental, emotional and physical health. Throughout
the course, I have learned a lot, and the idea is still fresh in my mind and well equipped to
practice. The strategy that will continue to use from the course is analyzing the root cause of
problems before rushing to give solutions. The approach does not only apply in my career life
but also will enhance personal development and making decisive actions.
