Confidence is the essential factor for the effective clinical performance as it improve the
adhesion to medical equipments and enhance the health outcome with better patient
experiences. The clinical skills improvement will improve patient care and increase patient
satisfaction and through this the nurses are able to recognise the the side effects of the
medications and the when the treatments are no working properly. The nursing students can
enhance their confidence by surrounding themselves with the positivity (Roman Jones & et.al.
(2022)). The nursing students should compliment each other which can lead to positivity, It
will encourage the person to speak out their minds and make the other person feel better. They
can cultivate the healthy relationship and develop clinical confidence. The nursing student
should work on their weaknesses which will result in the enhancement of the confidence in the
clinical skills. In order to improve the clinical skills by getting practical experience in a
effective ways. The nursing student should analyse their set of skills and focus on the weaker
skills (Mackavey & Cron, S. (2019)). The clinical skill can also be improved by spending time
with the patient and evaluating their medical test. A meeting with the medical team and
mentors and maintaining the patients chart accordingly will also benefited (Nigenda & et.al.
(2021)).

Autonomy gives the freedom to the nurses to command their work as in the nurses can
use their professional learning and make decision and take actions. This autonomy can also be
refereed as self direction, self governance. Autonomy is important factor in nursing profession
as this ability have several benefits on health, patient experience, job satisfaction and also the
well-being of the nurses also. The decision made by the nurses, make it sure that the proper
care is provided to the patients and satisfy the well-being the patient (Svavarsdottir & et.al
(2018)). This decision making ability without the involvement of any physician reflects the
leadership qualities. However, accountability make the nurses liable for the results or the
actions taken to get the results. This is related to the several aspects within the nursing practices
such as maintaining the confidentiality, following of procedures and policy, aliment of care
provided to the organisation practices, competence in clinical practice and many more (Pearson
(2020)). Within the patient care the accountability is linked with the assessment of patient,

learning to handle the stressing circumstances. Nurses can assist the medication procedure and
teach the patient to attain the health related needs. The role of nurses in patient care are
