The aim of this paper is to discuss the situation in my life that has led me to face conflict
with the other team members working in the same team. The people who are associated with this
conflict are some of the team members in the customer service department along with the team
manager. I have joined this team few months ago and the unethical practice is the reason why the
conflict has grown. The wage structure of this company was lucrative that made me to enter this
team but minimum wage breach has developed conflict among the team members and the leader.
This particular case is important for me because I have taken this job to meet my four square
meal and continue my study in this country. Now in caser I fail to cope up with this situation
then I will be needed to leave this job which will affect my career. Therefore, finding out proper
solution to this problem is needed for me which may be based on the negotiation process.
Through the chapters like ‘Negotiations’ and ‘Ethical and Cross-Cultural Negotiations’ it
has been understood that I need to follow perfect process of negotiations in order top mitigate
this problem. This type of conf Conflicts originate from the different types of point of view in the
professional life. negotiation strategies implemented in this type of issues have five faces. these
include investigation determination of best alternatives presentation bargaining and closure. in
this problem I will investigate the similar type of issues in in this organisation and how long this
has been taking place in the same company. this will be taking place by asking other team
members who have been working in this type of job for long. the negotiation process needs
proper information so that I can present every point to convince the team leaders indulging in
this type of unethical practice for so long. during the negotiation process I will be making
choices there for having proper information how to make a win win situation is a necessity . here
BATNA will be helping me to decide whether I will accept the offer during the negotiation
process. in this regard my team leader will be offering me more facilities instead of the

guaranteeing complete secrecy about this which issue. this is due to the fact that in case the
workers Union or other commissions assigned for assuring employee rights get to know about
this matter then it will affect the business negatively. It is the best alternative to a negotiated
agreement which will help me to reject this and favourable deal if the deal has been better than
the other outcome, I can get for this moment then I may accept it.
In the negotiation process maintaining proper ethical decorum is mandatory. Therefore,
in this the management is trying to convince me for my own interest I will not accept that. I have
faced this issue for few months and asking for Ethical solution. in this process if I myself act
unethically, then there will be no point for this conflict.
BATNA is the best negotiation procession therefore I need to improve my BATNA
exploring alternatives in every way (Lewicki, Barry and Saunders 2016). the impact of
knowledge associated with alternative for settling any dicey situation is unmatched which will be
helping me in this whole process. In the job negotiation where I am facing the veg issues like
many other employees in the company there is no scope for keeping this in secret. However, I
will be trying to investigate the matter whether this company is actually facing any issue
regarding revenues in the market which has led us to claim our salary rather than getting it
automatically (Ting-Toomey 2017).
The next phase is presentation in which I will assemble my information and support my
position. in the which negotiation situation, I will present the facts which I have contributed to
the organisation in last few months (Russell, Pferdehirt and Nelson 2018). I have never been
motivated employee nor taken any advantage off my position therefore I can claim my I which
and bring attention to my company. in this case I can also include media if the management is
not ready to negotiate about this conflict. in the 4th phase it is the bargaining process where both

of the party make concessions depending upon their ability. making a concession from my part
may not be possible because of the rigidity of the situation. however, I will be trying to follow
concession process so that none of the party’s face loss. In this negotiation process I will be
appreciating all the positive factors in this organisation and the training process from which I
have learnt so much. however, there will be a conversation where uh both of the parties will
present their views honestly.
The final phase is closure in which I will be trying to you get what I expect from the
management of this company (Mehwish, Rosmaini and Muhammad 2017). I will try to conclude
this conflict in a Win-Win situation where none of us will face issues anymore. I may or may not
be incorporating media and expose this type of breach of wage in this type of reputed company
but I will be solving this issue within few days. I need to take such steps so that the company
does not face any harm due to this inability of providing wages to their employees but act
ethically as much as possible. this will Hamper the reputation and as an employee I will not be
willing to lead my company in that situation.
I am a good communicator and I believe I have the capability of negotiating with the
others. Based on this capability I hope I will be able to make the managers convince for not
practicing this unethical practices. Through my communication skill I will share my point of
view and negotiate with the team leaders.
