INTRODUCTION
Conflicts can be defined as an argument and clash between individuals that occurs due to
different though process, misunderstanding and other reasons (Schmidts, Foerster and Kunde,
2018). This study is divided into 4 parts that will show different types of conflicts and reasons. 4
Different types of conflict which required different types of skills. Chapter 1 is all about
requirement of influencing skills and development of self awareness for solving the problem.
There is a lack of self awareness that creates some problems for employees. This chapter and
case is based on North-western division of a large clothing manufacturing company. Next
chapter 3 is all about of solving Problems Analytically and Creatively skills. This is based on
Boise firm. Solving the problem regarding changing the old organizational system with valid
proof and reason. With the help of change management model and identifying creative analogy it
will help out in solving the problem of changing management system of Boise firm. Chapter 7
is all about managing conflicts skills which is based on a case study. It shows some approaches
of conflict resolutions and influencing capabilities. The main aim of managing conflict skill is to
solve the problem related to stop outside factors that disturbs employees of an organization. It
will also show importance of implementing different approaches of conflict resolution and
increase capabilities to manage any type of situation. Last chapter and chapter 10 is related to
leading positive change skills which plays an important role in making changes according to
changes in internal and external factors. This chapter is based on large sausage manufacturing
company. By establishing a climate of positivity and implementing change model they solve the
problem (Brief, 2019).

In this situation I have to be very careful because my boss is thinking that I have use
money for enjoyment and I was doing party with friends and they were not potential clients so it
will be hard for me to make them understand and give them proper proof to the my boss ((Frich
and et.al., 2015). I also have proven that this all were related to the business

The process to increase positive impact of the conflicts and decreasing negative impact is
called conflict management. The conflict management mainly focuses on enhancing learning &
group outcomes which includes increasing performance & effectiveness in organisational setting.
As my neighbour talk loudly on the phone, the various steps being an employee I could take are:
By forcing I could satisfy my needs of not capable to listening talking at such a high pitch. Or I
could take this issue of conflict to the higher authority, who will then take accurate actions
against the misbehaviour she is creating. And through this approach I could finally feel
vindicated, and my neighbour felt defeated .
By avoiding mode includes taking a uncooperative & unassertive approach of this conflict. In
most cases this step is taken to reduce the chances of conflict, which could serve as the best
move. Moreover, course avoiding the conflict by this method could serve as the more fester issue
. Thus the outcome I finally get by using this approach will be nothing or even the situation will
get worse. By using the avoiding approach I might reflect myself as the incapable of handling
emotions of conflicts
By Competing I could solve this issue I.e I being a more assertive in nature and cooperative in
nature I will tend to compete with my neighbour.
By Compromising I could solve this issue of conflict as this is a moderately important issueless
could be solved just by compromising but this serve me only as temporary solution to my
problem.

According to me its a personal conflict as it is related to only me and my college. Im the only
one facing this problem of disturbance. As my college talking loud on the phone this made me
unable to focus on my work. So many times I get so much frustrated that I have to left the work
undone.
I think that the source of interpersonal conflict is due to personal differences. As I had
already told her that these are not the ethics of working in a corporate sector. Although tell her so
many times that talking loudly is strictly prohibited in this office. Moreover, attending phone
calls not related to this corporate sector is strictly not allowed , but this hasn’t made any change
in her behaviour. She had continued talking on the loud volume, and still she is disturbing me
and my work.
Some time ago, when I heard her talking too loudly on the phone for the first time, I thought she
might be not knowing that her loud pitch is disturbing me and my work and whenever she will
get to know about it, she will stop talking loudly. So I started ignoring her loud voice and
continue to focus on my work. But my this ignorance hasn't worked out for her, as she continued
talking on loud voice. Then I took the step to make her aware of the situation with the hope that
she might talk politely with low pitch. But my this assumption proved to be wrong, making her
aware and warning her so many times about my situation and office ethics she is as same as
earlier.
Some behavioural guideline I must suggest to my neighbour that I don’t want to increase the
conflict by communicating to higher authority for the solution of our personal issue. So I am
using a collaborative approach to minimize this issue at our personal level only.
The best approach according to me that I think I may take here for this conflict would be
compromising. This approach wont solve the issue but it will maintain a healthy relation between

preserve my relation with my colleague. The final outcome I may get by adopting these
techniques of conflict resolution is I might be proved to be less powerful, with decrease in
credibility. Thus, she might take me for granted.
