opportunities to organization for its existence and new venture in return, offers the goods and
services to the people for the survival and enlightenment. The new ventures need to handle all
the environmental challenges such as the political, economic, technological and the micro

gross domestic product, change in the rate of exchange, capital formation and creating the
employment opportunities for the citizens of the country. The construction industry is considered
as the basic industry similar to the manufacturing, mining, fishing and farming. This industry is
quite similar to the other industries like fishing, mining, manufacturing and farming. There are
many researchers and experts who challenged the construction industry to improve its quality of
the outcomes and efficiency as well (CIPE, 2014).
History of organization
Talking about the history of the company, then 30 years ago, this company was founded by Ray
GATT and started its business by investing in the road projects and then focused on the building
development. The daughter of Ray Gantt, named as Charlene, is taking care of the company from
the last five years of the company after the retirement of her father. She had a vision of
diversification and she looked at the business sectors very differently from the existing one. She
decided to invest heavily in the retail sector and the raw materials of the buildings at competitive
prices. The main target of the company is on the development of the luxurious department for the
niche market or rich people who will easily invest their money on purchasing of these luxurious
departments and wishing to settle in Malta. Also, she is focusing more on the hospitality sector
as she decided to build a marina, Villas and hotels in one of her major projects. Her vision of
diversification is the best part that makes the company grow and makes the company a leader in
construction sector in island of Gozo and Malta. Environment is very useful for the new venture

venture in return, offers the goods and services to the people for the survival and enlightenment.
The new ventures need to handle all the environmental challenges such as the political,
economic, technological and the micro environment factors to stay competitive in the domestic
and international markets as well as to survive for the longer period of time (Lasker, et al., 2015).
Organizational structure
The organizational structure of the construction company refers to the arrangement of various
job roles and responsibilities. There is variety of roles involved in the construction business such
as marketing, human resource, purchasing, finance and pre construction tasks. There are many
types of the organizational structures such as departmental horizontal separation, functional
design, directional and inter-departmental organizational design. The Gantt construction believes
in inter-departmental organizational designs. In the inter-departmental organizational designs,
specific job roles follow the hierarchical structure of communication and decision making flow.
For example, in the hierarchical structure the flow of information and decisions started with the
operational department head, to the project executives to the project managers to the
superintendents. However, the flow of the construction business decisions and degree of
authority is dependent on the size as well as policies of the construction business (Ofori, 2007).
The hierarchical organization structure of the GATT contracture has been shown in the below
diagram. The diagram illustrates that the degree of authority flow from general managers to
operations then project executives to the project engineers and superintendents. There are many
departments in the GATT Construction Company is performing different kind of functions such

companies need to analyze all the external environment factors which are explained as below:
Political- legislative factors: These factors include the Political environment of the
country, legal framework and government policies framework of the country where the

industries to understand the needs and tastes of the people before offering the services in
the market. Customer satisfaction should be mainly targeted by the construction

analyzing the entrepreneurial success factors in the business of the construction. This research
design is also known as the research strategy which can be used to find the accurate results of the
project work. This research strategy involves the procedure of conducting the interview survey in
order to understand the viewpoints of the entrepreneur and how they implement the strategies in
their business to achieve the successful results.
This research project will record the viewpoints of the entrepreneurs and owner of the GATT
construction company to understand their strategies and reasons behind their success. The
Quantitative approach is found useful in the collection of the primary data for understanding the
human behavior. This is useful because participants in the survey are the people who have the
great experience of starting up a new business (Setiawan, et al., 2015).
Research Approaches
Qualitative and quantitative are the two different approaches which can be used for the research
projects. Quantitative approach is the approach used for the collection of the primary data in the
numerical form and positive or negative responses. The quantitative data is the one which can be
easily measured and evaluated through the data collection instruments. The collection of the data
through questionnaire survey and interview is very useful as this approach has the main focus to
find the answers of the research questions.
13

Quantitative approach: This approach is used to collect the primary data through various
methods. The main focus is given to the quantity of the data in this approach and the data is
collected on the basis of the research questions or requirements. The quantitative research
methodology is used for the collection of information from various primary sources. In this
research project, we are going to use the primary data by taking interviews and also by
conducting the online questionnaire survey. The main purpose of this research method is to ask
the entrepreneurs about the specific questions about which skills an individual need to have
while starting up a new business (Tunji-Olayeni, et al., 2017).
Research questions
Research questions are mainly highlighted in the research project on which this whole part of
research is dependent. This project report is focusing on to find out the answers of the following
questions and those questions for this research project can be:
1. What skills in an entrepreneur are required to start a new business?
2. What are the important factors that influence the success of entrepreneurship?
3. How it is important to have the business idea and the entrepreneurial skills?
4. What skills do the employees have while starting a new business in the construction
industry?

business.

Data collection methods
There are two types of data which can be collected one are primary and second is the secondary
data. The primary data refer to the fresh data which can be used accurately. Secondary data is
collected with the help of the previous studies and already data available within the
organizations. The primary data is collected for the accuracy and efficiency of the study. Primary
data is assumed to be more credible in comparison to the other types of data. The questionnaire
has been prepared for this research work in order to find out the critical success factors. The
approach used in this research is quantitative in nature and it is suitable because it involves the
collection of primary data with the help of interview. The interview includes questions with
regard to the how company uses its capabilities to get the positive results. The questionnaire

Merits and demerits of the research
The data that is collected is currently based on the surveys and feedback of the customers. The
most important ethical consideration that we have to take into account is the authenticity and
confidentiality of the collected data. There are many benefits of conducting this online survey
and collecting primary data. The degree of accuracy in the primary data collection is quite high
as it does not need any extra caution. Also the plus point of gathering primary data is to depict
the data in a great detail. The demerits or pitfalls in this research method are that it requires a lot
of time in the collection of the data through the customer online survey and also in some cases; it
is quite difficult to collect the data. Collecting the primary data through questionnaire requires a
lot of skill (InterTradeIreland, 2012).
Research limitations
The limitation of this study is that the whole research is based on the responses given by the
different participants of the online survey. However, there are very less chances that all the
participants will give the honest answers or replies; therefore, the credibility of the report is
dependent on the honesty of the employees.
17
Document Page
Ethical Consideration
Ethical considerations are also the most important aspect of the survey as we need to follow
some ethical values and principles. All these ethics and values are essential to identify the moral
information. The data that is collected is currently based on the surveys and feedback of the
customers. The most important ethical consideration that we have to take into account is the
authenticity and confidentiality of the collected data. First of all, before distributing this
questionnaire survey among the customers, we should take care that there will be a volunteer
participation of the customers. Therefore, the best part of this survey that all the participants in
this survey are volunteers. The research topic is relevant because it mainly focuses on all the
factors that are significant for business success such as human resource management, financial
management and the facing all the environmental challenges. Development and implementation
of the strategies is the part of any business to achieve the organizational goals and objectives.
This research is relevant because it will be based on the primary data collected with the help of
questionnaire and interviews. Management is the most important concept and faced many
complex and changing environment trends. This relevancy of the research is highly dependent on
the responses that we obtained from the new venture owners through interviews and
questionnaire survey (Parsa, 2015).

Chapter 4: Main findings
The interview session with Charlene helps identifying the role of the entrepreneur in the
development of the company and handling the various environmental challenges. It has been
analyzed that there are many things that influenced the entrepreneurs to develop their business in
order to stay competitive in the global market. The interview data reflects the role of Charlene in
expanding the business of GATT Construction Company. It is observed that every entrepreneur
needs to gain some experience before starting up a new business. After completing the
management studies, Charlene started working in a small company to gain the experience and
then she worked for a family business that motivates her to prove their skills and abilities by
doing something new for the company. She also faced many challenges such as the cost
projections and in that case she always took an advice of her father who is the chairman of the
group. After doing a lot of struggle, Charlene came up with new ideas and revolution started at
the age of 31 which is a very good sign of her capabilities (Willis, 2016).
It's very important for every entrepreneur to get the business idea and do lot of research.
Similarly, from this interview session, it is observed that Charlene found that Malta is changing a
lot and it creates opportunities for the company to focus on their mission and values. It is not
important to update the existing products just to stay competitive in construction industry. It will
be better if an entrepreneur come up with new ideas and have a full confidence and belief to get a
success. From the viewpoint of the interviewee, it is clear that a leader needs to be very
confident, smart and ready to take the risk for the organization in order to gain the competitive
advantage in the construction industry.
19
Document Page
Moving further, an entrepreneur or manager need to set the mission first in order to stay focused
towards the organizational goals and objectives. From the interview session some of the
suggestions are also shared by the interviewee. It is suggested that entrepreneur should always
focus on the innovative ideas rather than copying others in the real business operations.
Moreover, it is clear from the collected data that a business is always for making good profits but
having the right set of resources even human resources will help the organizations in achieving
goals and objectives of the company.
The findings of the collected data have shown that human resources are also playing a very
important role in achieving the organizational goals as well as meeting the targets to satisfy the
customers. Being a leader of the company, it is vital to maintain the balance between work and
targets. However, good results and good product can be achieved only with the help of human
Resource Management in the organization. The interviewee shared about the main services
offered by the GATT construction company which are related to the interior decoration of the
apartments. In comparison to the other competitors, this company is offering some extra services
such as when a person buys an apartment from the GATT Construction Company, then designer
will go to the customer place and will find out the needs of the customers and then accordingly
offered them interior decoration for their apartment. For the foreign clients, the company is
offering online presentation and live chats with clients because they cannot travel on a regular
basis. The company makes sure about the quality of materials used in the buildings
(Braunerhjelm, 2009).
20

As you know the fact that every business has an aim of achieving good amount of profits.
Therefore, to stay competitive in the challenging environment, it is required think out of the box
and enhances the business by grabbing different opportunities. From the interview session, it is
identified that the future aim of the company is not only to deal with the real estate but also in
hospitality to gain the maximum profits. The company is still focusing on the establishment of
villas and five star hotels to attract the maximum tourist to the island of GOZO. This future plan
will be very beneficial for the GATT construction to achieve highest returns on the investments.
Being an entrepreneur of the company it is analyzed that the promotion of the projects is very
important to attract the maximum number of customers. The viewpoint of Charlene reflects that
company has its own Marketing department which includes various property sales agents named
as Remax, frank salt, Engel and volger. All the property sale agents are the strength of the
company because they are the one who shows the development of the company to the
prospective clients and always focused to sell the product to the final customers (Sipos-Gug &
Badulescu, 2014).
Also it is found that from the interview session with Charlene, the key in running a business
successfully is to hire the people for particular task that company don't know about it such as
accountants and attorneys. It is a duty of the entrepreneur to maintain the financial statements
and audit reports in a company. In the context of employees, an entrepreneur should always have
those people who are self-motivated because they don't need to be managed by the company.
Also the employee should hire on the basis of their ability to perform a work, communication
skills and their interacting capabilities with the customers and other peer groups. It is identified
that building a strong relationship of mutual respect and trust leads to retain the customers for a

longer period of time. Also, Charlene suggested that a leader or an entrepreneur always need to
be a professional. From the interview session some of the suggestions are also shared by the
interviewee. It is suggested that entrepreneur should always focus on the innovative ideas rather
than copying others in the real business operations. Moreover, it is clear from the collected data
that a business is always for making good profits but having the right set of resources even
human resources will help the organizations in achieving goals and objectives of the company
(Staniewski, et al., 2016).
At the end of the interview session, it reflects that in order to start a new business a person need
to work for their dreams and own future. Nobody can give guarantees on success therefore, if
you want to get a success in the newly set up business then an entrepreneur need to take a
calculated risk. Being a leader of a company it's very important to have a persistent, goal oriented
and risk taking behavior. Furthermore, it is determined that ideas and innovation, use of
experience and technical skills are some of the factors that helps to make the business unique and
different.
Therefore, every question that asked from the interviewee is related to the research topic and
answers shared by Charlene are very useful that analyzing the various factors and entrepreneurial
qualities that leads to the greater success for the company. It has been analyzed from the findings
of the interview survey that an entrepreneur need to be very persistent, goal oriented, confident,
flexible and risk taker. There are many challenges faced by the companies such as the biggest
challenge is the existing competition in the market. Before starting up a new business, every

easy task to become an entrepreneur (Ikupolati, et al., 2017). Also, the entrepreneurship is a key

and majority of jobs are being created by the companies. As a result, many experience business
people such as leader’s educators and the Economists have analyzed the positive side of the
newly established small business. Entrepreneurship is a very important for the economy as it

entrepreneurial activities in gaining the success and competitive advantages. The idea of starting
a new business at the tourist destinations such as opening of hotels and restaurants great
opportunities for growth because of the tourist places. Tourists destinations and the restaurant at
the beach side or pop up shops at the fun parks, forests etc. is not a new trend. The people can
gain a good sum of profits from the tourism sectors (Khoso, et al., 2017). Being an entrepreneur,
it is their responsibility to analyze the place and all its geographical, demographic and cultural

factors that influence the business. In the case of the tourism, there is no need to have the high
budget, but the most important thing is to find out the demand of the tourists, location, and
interference of the government and understand the tourism laws. The decision took through the
Simventure process is that being an entrepreneur I should need to improve my social skills and
motivational skills. Also the training programs are the part of the entrepreneurship, so it is
important to provide training to the people to achieve the better results.

Chapter 5: Discussion
As above we have analyzed entrepreneurial skills of the Charlene who is the director of GATT
Construction Company. The data collected through interview session highlights all the steps and
factors that she keeps in mind while setting up a new business in the region of Malta. Being an
entrepreneur, she has all the abilities to handle the environmental challenges by doing a great
research on a particular issue. The story of Charlene is very inspiring and encouraging towards
the setting up of new goals and mission for the future and then put all the efforts towards the
achievement of these goals of the organization. There are many competitors available in the
construction industry and the biggest competitors for GATT Construction Company are Joseph
Portelli and Tumas group. Both the companies are doing the real estate business and offering the
huge services to the people of Malta region (Tumas Group, 2013).
Joseph Portelli's story is a familiar one as he is a self-made businessman and founder of J.
Portelli. Joseph also develops the real estate business by acquiring the innovative ideas to gain
the maximum profits. Joseph is also known risk taker as he is also experimenting with the new
business models that help him to build a winning portfolio. The current team working with
Joseph is very skilled and experienced professionals who are also putting their great efforts to
make an idea into a success. This attitude of entrepreneur leads to gain the success in the market
(Portelli, 2018).
25

Talking about another competitor known as Tumas Group, the main focus of that company is on
the creativity, innovation and the quality services for the customers that in return generate the
money for the services. This business also contributes significantly towards the growth of the
national economy by generating a level of profitability and value for the shareholders. This
group is mainly focusing on the opportunities for the growth and diversification of the business
locally or beyond the shores of Malta. This company also invested a huge amount of money on
the management, property development, hospitality, gaming and transport in order to increase
the level of profitability (Woolthuis, 2010).
The concept of entrepreneurship and its role in handling the environmental challenges is that it is
the integration of the organizational venturing and the strategic entrepreneurship. There are four
main models of the corporate entrepreneurship, presented in the below image: Enabler, producer,
opportunist and Advocate.
26
Document Page
The process of the corporate restructuring involves the three main steps
Strategic renewal: This is the first step of the corporate entrepreneurship as it involves the
renewal of the key ideas of the company to transform the organization. However, it
includes the activities such as redefining the business concept, re-structuring of the
business, and making changes for innovation (Hytti, 2003).
Innovation: This part of the process is playing a very crucial role as the main focus is
given to the creativity and innovation in technology. This involves the innovation at the
time of the new product launch, new production methods and procedures. Innovation
always plays the crucial role in the companies in order to survive in the competitive
world (Kaplan, 2008).

Corporate venturing: This is the most effective feature of entrepreneurship as this element
of the process includes the business strategies to create the new venture, to redefine the
products and services and targeting new markets. For all organizations, regardless of size,
the new business-venturing dimension refers to the creation of new business.
It is a very clear fact that while setting up a new business, huge amount of money has been
invested by the businessman and shareholders. It is a good to take the risks but sometimes it may
lead to the negative consequences for the entrepreneur. The concept of entrepreneurship can be
criticized on the basis of the risk taken by the people and the amount of money being invested
any new businesses. The most common thing that I have analyzed in the above research related
to the entrepreneurship is that nowadays, the primary goal of entrepreneurship is not about to
build something new but it is about to attract the maximum customers to obtain the maximum
profits. Moving further, lack of knowledge about anything can a new business also affects new
ventures as well as economy as a whole. The risk taking behavior of the entrepreneurs also leads
to negative results. In order to handle that kind of negative results, it will be better to focus more
on the existing activities of the company (Buthelezi, 2011).
Therefore, comparing the GATT construction with the Tumas group and the Joseph Portelli’s,
then all of these three businesses belong to three different type of the business. GATT
Construction Company is family owned company, J. Portelli is the self-made organization and
the Tumas Group is jointly owned company. Every form of business has its own advantages and
disadvantages. All the three organizations promote the innovation and creativity, but their main
28
Document Page
focus is on the profit making activities. Entrepreneurs can be criticized on the basis of their
behaviour and the way of handling the challenges and issues. Joseph can be criticized in the
terms of risk. J. Portelli is a very risky man and very competitive in nature. There is nothing bad
in taking risks and be competitive, excess of everything is harmful. Therefore, this nature of
Joseph may result in the negative consequences in future. On the other hand, Tumas also have
the greedy personality as they all care about the money and profitability. Tumas group also have
the obsessive personality as they are much more obsessed with creating and innovating some
new ways to earn a lot of money in the form of profits (Verwey, 2007).
Environmental factors involve all the political, economical, competition, technological changes
and market conditions that have an influence on the organizational structure, resources,
competence and the reward system. All these factors should be analyzed in order to bring a
change in the organization. Organizational factors are related to the business models that
companies already using and how it will be affected by the corporate entrepreneurship strategies.
The individual factors can have a great impact on the organization as a whole and even in the
retail industry. All these levels of the factors may affect the entrepreneurial mindset. These
levels include the entrepreneurial vision and mission, entrepreneurial culture, and entrepreneurial
leadership (Tamyez, et al., 2017).
From the above analysis is found that every entrepreneur has its own abilities and disabilities to
perform any business task. All of the three entrepreneurs are a goal oriented and focusing more
towards see achievement of its goals and objectives. Moreover, there risk taking behaviour may
29
Document Page
have the negative impacts on the business profits. It is recommended that while starting up on
your business every entrepreneur need to take a small risk instead of big risk. It is also observed
that Joseph is more capable of establishing its own business and holding huge responsibilities
towards the business. There are many entrepreneurs who are not able to fulfill their
responsibilities which lead to achieve the low profits. As in the interview session with Charlene,
it has been analyzed that building a strong relationship are also important while setting up new
business. This factor is highly ignored by the other entrepreneurs. Both the entrepreneur,
Charlene and Joseph, have the viewpoint that human resource management is the key driver of
their success. Both the entrepreneurs hired the professional and skilled employees, while setting
up a new venture and motivate staff to achieve these set mission and objectives of the
organization. On the other hand, Tumas group is focusing less on the employees and their
satisfaction levels (DBSA, 2006).
Talking about the positive side of these entrepreneurs, then they all are goal oriented, focused,
hardworking and promotes innovation in the new business. The main goal of all the
entrepreneurs is to offer the quality Services to all the customers of Malta region. The idea of
moving to hospitality sectors is also implemented by the Tumas group to gain the good amount
of profits and shareholder’s value. There are many other areas on which Tumas group has been
focused like management services, property development, and transport related and gaming.
Therefore, to stay competitive in the construction industry, then it is important to handle all the
challenges as well as need to change some of the plans as per the competition requirements
(Phelps, 2014).

Chapter 6: Conclusion and recommendations
According to the various researchers, the strategic responses are the decisions made by the
organizations that may results into the formulation and implementation of the plans in order to
achieve the goals and objectives of the organizations from different industry. The success of the
business is highly relying on the networks of the relationship between and among material
resources, human resources and other financial systems. Management is the most important
concept and faced many complex and changing environment trends. This relevancy of the
research is highly dependent on the responses that we obtained from the new venture owners
through interviews survey. This report also determines the impact of the management strategies
on the business organizations and government can ensure that business activities are being
carried out according to the legal framework or not (Mahanth, 2017).
Recommendations
Some of the recommendations that have been obtained from the above research analysis are
given as below:
It will be better if an entrepreneur come up with new ideas and have a full confidence and
belief to get a success.
It is also analyzed that the leader should be very confident, smart and ready to take the
risk for the organization in order to gain the competitive advantage in the construction
industry.
It is suggested that entrepreneur should always focus on the innovative ideas rather than
copying others in the real business operations (Kinias, 2013).
31

Also it will be better if the new business has the right set of resources even human
resources will help the organizations in achieving goals and objectives of the company.
Leaders should maintain the balance between work and targets in order to satisfy the
customers as well as shareholders.
It is required think out of the box and enhances the business by grabbing different
opportunities.
The company should adopt the proper marketing strategies in order to attract maximum
customers for the new business.
An entrepreneur should always have those people who are self-motivated because they
don't need to be managed by the company. Also the employee should hire on the basis of
their ability to perform a work, communication skills and their interacting capabilities
with the customers and other peer groups (Lwanga, 2017).
It is suggested that the new ventures in the construction industry should give training and
develop the sales agents as they are the strength of the company because they are the one
who shows the development of the company to the prospective clients and always
focused to sell the product to the final customers.
It is a duty of the entrepreneur to maintain the financial statements and audit reports in a
company.
It is suggested that entrepreneur should always focus on the innovative ideas rather than
copying others in the real business operations.
It's very important to have a persistent, goal oriented and risk taking behavior of the
leaders. Also, ideas and innovation, use of experience and technical skills are some of the
factors that help to make the business unique and different.

The qualities of the leader, importance of the employees and human resource
management and other factors should be considered by the organizations to stay
competitive and successful.
Environmental factors involve all the political, economical, competition, technological
changes and market conditions that have an influence on the organizational structure,
resources, competence and the reward system. All these factors should be analyzed in
order to bring a change in the organization.
It is recommended that while starting up on your business every entrepreneur need to take
a small risk instead of big risk (Abd-Hamid, et al., 2015).
It has been analyzed that building a strong relationship are also important while setting up
new business.
To stay competitive in the construction industry, then it is required to handle all the
challenges as well as need to change some of the plans as per the competition
requirements.
Conclusion
It is concluded from the above report that it is very important for the small organizations and the
newly established businesses to stay competitive in order to survive in the challenging world.
Environment is very useful for the new venture as it provides the new resources and
opportunities to organization for its existence and new venture in return, offers the goods and
services to the people for the survival and enlightenment. The business owner of GATT

Construction Company and his role in the achievement of the goals and how he utilizes the
management concepts to stay competitive in the market has been discussed in the above report.
This report is also important for all the investors and suppliers to determine the viability of the
investments as well as to observe how to improve the relations with the suppliers. The
construction industry is playing a very important role in the economic growth of the developing
countries and long term development of the nation. However, the investigation on the nature of
the construction business, requirements of the company and importance in the development is
very helpful for the benefit of these countries and also use this investigation for the purpose of
improving the various areas of the construction industry. In the precious studies, the construction
industry is considered as the basic industry similar to the manufacturing, mining, fishing and
farming. This industry is quite similar to the other industries like fishing, mining, manufacturing
and farming. There are many researchers and experts who challenged the construction industry to
improve its quality of the outcomes and efficiency as well. The business environment of the
construction industry includes internal and external environment which have the direct or
indirect effect on the performance of the organization. The project report focuses on the business
leaders and the owners of the small companies who are running their business to understand the
reasons behind their success. This report is basically involved the procedure of conducting the
interview survey in order to understand the viewpoints of the entrepreneur and how they
implement the strategies in their business to achieve the successful results. It has been analyzed
that there are many things that influenced the entrepreneurs to develop their business in order to
stay competitive in the global market. The interviews data reflects the role of Charlene in
expanding the business of GATT Construction Company. It's very important for every
34
Document Page
entrepreneur to get the business idea and do lot of research. Similarly, from this interview
session, it is observed that Charlene found that Malta is changing a lot and it creates
opportunities for the company to focus on their mission and values. An entrepreneur or manager
need to set the mission first in order to stay focused towards the organizational goals and
objectives. Also, it is determined that ideas and innovation, use of experience and Technical
skills are some of the factors that helps to make the business unique and different.
Entrepreneurship is a very important for the economy as it helps in improving the standard of
living of the country, creating a wealth with the entrepreneurial real Ventures, and promotes
innovations. Therefore, the idea of starting a new business at the tourist destinations such as
opening of hotels and restaurants great opportunities for growth because of the tourist places.
The training programs are the part of the entrepreneurship, so it is important to provide training
to the people to achieve the better results. There are many competitors available in the
construction industry and the biggest competitors for GATT Construction Company are Joseph
Portelli and Tumas group. Both the companies are doing the real estate business and offering the
huge services to the people of Malta region. The company needs to bring some changes in its
structures and increasing the use of the technology in order to stay competitive.
