Report
AI Summary
This report examines the pervasive problem of delays within the construction industry and explores how the Internet of Things (IoT) can mitigate these issues. The research delves into the application of IoT, including smart sensors, BIM, and SCM technology, to enhance efficiency, improve safety, and reduce costs. It analyzes factors contributing to project delays, such as unrealistic schedules, approval processes, and inaccurate estimations. The study emphasizes the role of IoT in providing real-time data and seamless integration across all stages of construction, from planning to final construction, to improve decision-making. The report also highlights how IoT facilitates the deployment of low-power sensors for effective cost management and its impact on the global economy. By adopting IoT, the construction industry can experience increased process efficiency, improved productivity, and enhanced overall project outcomes.

Abstract: -
Delay in the construction industry is the most recurring problem that affects the overall economy
of the country. Information technology can help in the Construction Industry by the usage of new
equipment. The World professionals analyze the significant factors that affect on the
Construction Industry such as unrealistic schedules, government approvals, incorrect time
estimation, inaccurate cost estimation, and delay in the decision-making process, inappropriate
attainment method and inaccurate cost estimation. Various technologies are used in the
construction industry such as BIM, SCM technology, Big-data, Robotics and IoT (Internet of
Things). In this research, we analyze how we can reduce time and cost in the construction
industry over the world by using IoT and its impact on the economy of the world. On Adopting
the IoT in the construction industry increase the process, improving efficiency, safety, and
productivity. IoT is a smart technology that provides seamless integration and reliable
communication, smart sensors have required in the construction industry. In this study, IoT-
enabled smart systems integrate with the Construction industry.
Introduction:-
Delay in construction can be defined as the overrun of time either beyond the date or beyond the
contract date of the delivery date agreed by the party. In the construction industry, it is
considered one of the most recurring problems. Availability of the Limited resources in the
construction industry faces several challenges for long-standing production line and the
customers' requirements. Industrial competition and huge demand encouraged most industries to
move towards mass production.
I analyze the financial crisis at the global level that hits the world economy. I used IoT
(Internet of Things) technology in this study that provides the deployment of low power sensors
that can communicate the effective cost. The construction industry is turning around by the
impact of IoT. It is a technology moves towards the digitization. IoT makes it possible for the
stakeholder to analyze in the real-time construction process at every stage from the planning to
final construction.
