d) Role of CDM in the construction process
The main role of CDM in the school construction project is to ensure that the safety and health
issues are well looked into in the construction of the school to ensure that the impending safety
hazards do not cause any harm to the workers and the people involved in the construction
process of the school. The rule is that companies with good safety rules are usually considered
by contractors and subcontractors. This is only accomplished by bearing in mind if they have met
the required health and safety standards (Gresham Smith, 2018, p. 54).
