The construction managers are responsible to develop the blueprint of the site in terms of
overall planning, time table development, labor cost, material determining, negotiation and
hiring subcontractors for the construction project (Jelodar, Yiu & Wilkinson, 2016). In order to
select a construction manager for a construction project it is necessary to consider certain
selection criteria in terms of job skills and requirements as well and those are as follows:
Analytical skills: People who are good in large scale planning, multi scale projects must
be selected as a construction manager.
Decision making: They must have unique decision making power.
Management skills: The construction managers are required to lead their project team for
keeping them motivated engage to their job roles.
Communication: In order to deal with the clients the construction managers are needed
