Role of Project Cycle in the selected project:
Project cycle refers to the logical representation of all the activities that are taken within a
project while achieving the desired objectives and intentions of the project. For the ongoing
project of construction of swimming pool in modern society, project lifecycle includes several
complexities that are faced during its execution while following through several stages such as
the initial phase where the idea to construct the swimming pool is determined and the important
critical factors for the project are hence identified which is the first step for the successful
implementation of the project (Artto, Ahola & Vartiainen, 2016). In the next step that is in the
preparation phase, the selected idea for the project is developed and the budget of the project is
estimated which is around R1.572000.00. Similarly, the project lifecycle continues with the
presentation, implementation and monitoring phase where the stakeholders, suppliers and the
possibility of the project are analyzed in detail. However, the final phase of the scheme lifecycle
is yet to be analyzed as the project is an ongoing project.
Role of Project Management in the selected project:
Managing the projects plays a vital role in project construction and the scheme managers
related to the project of constructing swimming pool in modern society need to work closely
with the engineers and the architects so as to develop the plan and establish the desired
timetables while determining the labor and mining cost of the swimming pool.

The project organization knowledge areas that are related to the ongoing project of

engrained project organization plan so that the scheme can be assessed smoothly from the
