Introduction
Before examining the learning style, it is essential to be clear about what style is because
it is necessary to know about it. Style is a perception or an idea used in the fields of art, fashion
media, and sports, etc. what an individual refers is the most important thing. Looking at the
terminology in the field of education, it can be seen; every student owns a different learning
style. Student's gender, intelligence, and personal characteristics are influenced by his style of
learning (Dunaway, 2019). Learning style is the perception of the student on how to communicate
in a different environment, how to perceive it, and their reaction and learning in the process (Gray
& DiLoreto, 2016). If the teaching process is developed in the learning style of the learner, it
becomes easy for the student to learn.
Discussion
Task 1
Answer 1
Three types of learning styles are predominant; Auditory, visual, and tactile. Most of the
students do have the basic idea of how they can learn best, but often, it becomes a surprise for
them to discover their predominant learning style(Race, 2019).
Auditory Learning: an auditory learner learns by hearing or listening. 'heard'
information is preferred. The best way for them is to learn through discussions,
tutorials, lectures, and talking to themselves.

Visual Learning: A visual learner learns by reading or seeing pictures. Things are
remembered through seeing—the use of symbolic devices, such as pictures,
diagrams, or flow charts.
Tactile Learning: A tactile learner learns through touching and doing. Things are
remembered and understood through physical movement. Stimulation of real
practices and experiences is preferred. Role-plays and applications help these
kinds of learners(Gao et al., 2016).
An education planner is an organization that helps not only the students but also the
teachers to know their learning or teaching style. I took the test on
http://www.educationplanner.org/students/self-assessments/learning-styles-quiz.shtml to check
my learning style. After receiving my opinion on a few questions, the result achieved regarding
my learning style was:
Auditory: 25%
Visual: 35%
Tactile: 40%
The result shows that the learning I make through hearing is only 25%. It's because
sometimes I learn through my intrapersonal skills. Sometimes people think that I am not paying
attention to what they are saying even though I am hearing or listening to things whatever they
say. Then comes the visible part, and my result shows that I am a 35% visual learner. This means
no every time, but most of the time, I learn things by visualizing them. As I get attracted to color
and the books which have images in it. I like to envision what I see. And now, the final is tactile,

speak by using my hands or by giving sharp gestures, so it's not easy for me just to sit and learn

Answer 2
To enhance my qualities and abilities, both personally and professionally, I decided to
develop my problem-solving skills using smartphone. My learning style makes me more tactile
as recently while developing my problem-solving skills, I used a smartphone. Still, instead of
watching or reading instructions, I started practicing my skills through different apps. Due to
having no education, after solving some problems, I stuck. At that time, instead of giving up. I
decided to take the help of the instructions by reading t. As I am a 35% visual learner, I have
been able to grasp the information by watching videos of teaching to enhance my knowledge and
to get command over problem-solving skills.
Answer 3
As I am 40% tactile, to bring perfection, I have to practice things, again and again, to get
over it. The instructions I used helped me a lot. No matter whatever our learning style is, we are
a combination of all the methods. So, only practicing something is not enough. It can be
elaborated as along with practical; theory also plays a vital role in learning something(Slavin,
2019).

tools and resources to help people build purposeful learning into the routine of their own and
professional life. CIPD analyzes the learning style of their client and supports them in the
journey of their education. To learn new methods and technologies, the tactile learner needs to
follow the following effective ways:
Use of flashcards.
As tactile learners have the short attention span, they need to study in with some breaks
To make their understanding more precise, the tactile learner should use more and more
examples while writing notes.
Tactile learners cannot just sit and learn. They are bound to do something while studying,
like tapping a pencil or squeezing a ball(Stewart & Rogers, 2017).

The competency assessment test is a valid and reliable test used to assess and measure the
knowledge and competency required for the job. These tests can be developed for different
occupations to get the employee certified and perfect in that specific occupation. Through the
competency assessment test, I developed skills like being an excellent communicator. I have
adapted the ability to be a quick learner as I pay more attention to things now. The best part is to
become a good team member as it helps to develop and polish more of your skills(Bens, 2017).
Answer 2
I already have the idea of such a competency test through SWOT analysis. SWOT
analysis appraises the internal strengths and weaknesses and the external opportunities and the
threats in the environment of the organization. The internal review is for the identification of
resources, capabilities, core competencies, and competitive advantages within the organization.
In contrast, external recognizes the market opportunities and the threats by looking at the
available resources of the competitor (Pucciarelli & Kaplan, 2016 ). The primary objective
underlies SWOT analysis is the use of information organizations obtain about the internal and
external environment of the organization and to formulate strategical steps regarding that.

REFLECTIVE DEVELOPMENT REPORT
Answer 5
Now, after identification of the purpose, one needs to ponder and focus upon the
development needs. Some people are aware of their strengths and weakness. Others have to
undergo some tests to be clear about it. Through those tests, note down the skills or knowledge
you need to learn or acquire. For every profession, formulate developmental objectives. These
should be SMART, specific, measurable, achievable, and realistic. Implement the plan into
action. How you do it, it's up to you. Keep a record of everything for your motivation. The
critical stage of the self-development cycle is evaluation. You need to determine whether the
action plan you have gone through is worth it or not.
The best skill acquired by any person or employee should be teamwork and leadership
skills. This skill is required throughout life in personal as well as professional domains.
Leadership can be acquired practically, through books or different experiences. To bring
perfection and success in life. It is essential to attain this skill for the sake of personal
development as well(Komives & Wagner, 2017).
Answer 6
The skills which I want to have will help me throughout my life. They are going to make
an impact on my personality and my career. Through these skills, I would be able to achieve my
goals. With these skills, not only my knowledge will be enhanced, but my personality would be

Task 3
Plan for future development
Personal Development Plan (PDP) is the most effective or strategy to achieve excellence
and success in any domain of life. The concept of reflection enables the person to keep a record
of the phases he has performed towards acquiring knowledge and skills. According to the initial
PDP, which I have developed, communication and interpersonal skills are the primary goals I
want to achieve. So, for this, I have planned more to communicate more with my instructors and
the other people around me. I am surely going to focus on the areas of my weakness. This is the
main change I want in myself. To make sure that I have understood all the concepts taught in the
classroom, I am going to spend more time with my instructors(Dahmarde, Khodabakhshi & Rad,
2018).
Social development is also a domain I needed to achieve. I have noticed that I lack social
skills if I compare myself to other people. The significance of social skills cannot be denied at
the workplace, and I would need them to cope up smoothly with everything. In my PDP, to
improve my interaction with other people is one of my significant goals. I am going to get
change by spending more time interacting with people. I need to acquire some leadership
position through which I will focus on developing my leadership skills. It will not only enhance
my interaction skills; instead, it will make me a good listener and a more responsible
person(Stephenson, 2018).
Considering the issue of time management, I have made short term goals every week.
These short-term goals will help me not to fall behind on time. The short-term goals are active,
but at the start, it becomes challenging to follow a schedule. Sometimes because of the laziness

activity to come up to the level of time management I have planned.
Along with all these things, it is essential to put some emphasis on the reflection of my
performance. To achieve my desired CGPA, I need to improve my performance by dedicating
more time and attention to my studies. The goal I have set to make regarding my education is to
attain 80- 90% in all subjects(Ananth, 2019). More time is needed to be spent to achieve my
desired result. More practice will be my aim as compared to focus only on theory. To make the
results satisfactory, the amount of training has to be increased(Johnson et al., 2017).
Gaining some experience in the field at an early age is not only essential but also a
determinant of accomplishment. So, I have decided to get some practical experience to gain the
impact of theory learned in the class. I need to use my full potential. Previously, I found it
challenging to focus on something other than my studies. A more holistic life can be experienced
if I get some practical experience. Planning has helped me a lot as I am now able to visualize
what I am supposed to achieve in life and how I am going to do that. No practice has been the
reason for not getting my desired grades in university. PD has taught me it is essential to achieve
personal skills, and they are not difficult to be learned(Schmoker, 2018).
Following the PDP will not only assimilate my personal development; instead, it will also
integrate my academic development. I will be spending more time in learning activities such as
sending more time in the library, conducting research on any subdomain of my field. In this way,
I will be getting expertise in my field of study. This experience will help me to learn ideas from
