study. The construction industry is a hazardous place for work health as well as safety risks
because of number as well as rate of work injuries caused. The sector is responsible for
approximately 20-30% of serious occupational injuries as well as least share of the
occupational illness. Poor construction safety as well as linked fatal in addition non-fatal
injuries are reported in the study from the world (Jabłoński, Szer and Szer 2018). Most of the
health and safety risks occurred due to falls from the heights as well as stuck by the moving
vehicles. Non-fatal injuries caused due to slips, falls as well as struck by falling objects.
3 Project Objective
The health and safety risks s are required to be solved so that the construction
professionals can get a proper working environment. Health and safety regulations are
required to follow for reducing chances of injury as well as protect lives of the construction
workers.
4 Why this project?
The health and safety is a part concerned with growth, as well as care of workplace
environment, and policies that make sure that there is physical as well as emotional wellbeing
of the employees and retain the workplace unrestricted from the potential construction
hazards. The construction site safety decreases risk of the injuries to public and construction
workers, but it can also reduce risk of the work related injuries as well as construction
accidents (Sutrisna and Goulding 2019). Safety of the construction site leads the employees

to take in account of the better working environment. This selected project topic has key
significant importance so that the reader can understand the factors lead to safety and health
risks and ways to prevent from the risks.
5 Initial Findings
The construction workplace hazards are reduced by managing the health as well as
safety and help to prevent the accidents. It is required to identify, monitor as well as reduce
the possible risk factors linked with the workplace hazards. The best solution to protect the
employees from the construction hazards is identifying as well as managing the risks by
taking reasonable steps to prevent the potential harm to the individuals (Mesaros, Spisakova
and Mackova 2019). Risk assessment is conducted in construction workplace to minimize the
project risks, better obey with the workplace safety regulations as well as help to keep a
working environment.
6 Predicted Findings
Occupational health and safety act and regulations is to be recognized, then a written
statement is provided to protect health as well as safety of the employees and surrounding
public environment. It seeks to protect health as well as safety of the employees by ensuring
that policies are strictly implemented in the business organization. This policy can set out
responsibilities of the workplace parties as well as right of the construction workers (Shah
and Alqarni 2018). It is established of workplace procedures to deal with the construction
hazards and also provided implementation of law where obedience has not being attained.
7 Implications to Industry
The solution will affect the industry by implementing workplace procedures regarding
health and safety of all the workers so that there is prevention from the hazards. The solution

will help the workers to get a better constriction environment to work with. The disadvantage
of this solution is that there is a change in the workplace policies, therefore the workers
should learn about new policies and should follow it.
8 Conclusion
It is concluded that work health and safety is main problem in the construction
workplace and the management should implement or follow for the occupational health and
safety act to prevent from the workplace hazards.
