AI Summary
This report delves into the constructivist-interpretivist research paradigm, highlighting its core principles and applications within qualitative research. The paradigm emphasizes the subjective nature of reality, where meaning is constructed through interactions. The report explores the exploratory qualitative research approach, which allows researchers to delve into human experiences, perspectives, and value systems. It emphasizes the significance of axiological assumptions in shaping the research context and the need for respectful researcher-participant relationships. The study underscores the importance of understanding the individual's subjective experiences within their natural social settings. The report explores how researchers can apply these principles to explore human experiences and understand the 'why' behind people's actions.

Research paradigm which includes interconnected assumptions related to researche’s
perceptive towards reality is known as constructivist interpretivist. Researchers with this
paradigm have ability to explore a meaningful information from the multiple interactions (da
Costa,Hall, & Spear, 2016). This type of stance also permit researcher to access value systems
and perceptions of the research participants so that their unique subject experience can be
understood. The research paradigm of constructivist interpretivism also give rise to exploratory
research approach (O’Neil & Koekemoer, 2016).
To accomplish the research objectives and to answer the research questions an
exploratory research design and qualitative methods are used by the researcher. Qualitative type
exploratory research is of scientific nature which allow researcher to understand and explore the
experience of human beings or social components in natural social settings. It also permits to
collect sufficient researcher information from the study participants (Kathlke, 2014). In addition
to this exploratory approach is also significant in understanding the perspectives, feelings,
thoughts and emotional aspects of people and the reason behind their actions which take place in
natural social settings (Percy et al., 2015).
The research process and contextual frameworks are greatly influenced by the value
system of research participants or researchers. Axiological assumptions provide necessary
guidelines to explore the value system which is vital for the study (Drolet, 2014). For building
positive relationship with the study participants researcher must demonstrate respect and
effective communication during interviews, recruitment and selection as well as follow up
processes.
