TASK 1
Skills which have developed
There is a lot of knowledge which I have gained from this report writing is that there are
a lot of situations and problems which would rise in front of an industry and there has to be good
analyzing and measures which have to be taken on time. There are a lot of measures which can
be taken so that there would be good functioning and the company will be able to operate
effectively. The skill which I understood I lacking in me is that I have to improve the data
analyses which I have developed for myself and that have improved so that there would be
higher performance present. Coming to a conclusion or recommendation is very difficult for me
which needs to be improved otherwise I will not be able to function effectively. The results of
the report are good because I understood the professional skills which I need to develop in
myself so that there are going to be better functioning (Ludlam and et.al., 2016).
Learning from the process
I did not have a lot of knowledge on how Covid-19 has impacted the air transport
industry and while I was doing the report there are a lot of learning which I have got from it.
There has to be good understanding and knowledge only then any project can be made and the
individual who is making the report will have to use secondary and primary data to be able to get
the right information to the audience. There are lot problems as well which rise in businesses
which I will have to evaluate and function accordingly so that there would be a higher
performance level which is going to be present (von Platen, 2016). I do not have to fear but
instead understand the problem and have confidence that I will be able to solve it on time so that
the results are going to be better in giving out information and responsibilities. Learning and
having an open mind is very essential so that there would be good understanding and new ideas
will be generated in the company for the future as well.

Improvement on the level of confidence
There is more information and knowledge which I have gained about the future air
transport manager in this industry which is going to be very good for myself. When there is a lot
of knowledge and information which one has is going to make the functioning better and the
organization will able to able to operate effectively. Satisfaction with the job has to be present
and without having confidence in myself and career goals of myself then I will not be able to
have a sense of direction and I would not be able to operate as well (Darics, 2020). I have the
confidence that I can make projects on this field since I have gained a lot of knowledge and
information from different sources which can make me understand the working. There has to be
good planning which I need to develop so that there is going to be good functioning and the
company will be able to develop and gain profits as well. Planning for operating effective is very
essential which needs to be developed and make the company have better sense of direction so
that the organization will be able to operate effectively.
Useful learning of skill which can be used in future career
I have learnt while doing this project is that there are a lot of secondary information and
different viewpoints of different authors but the right information is to analyse all of them and
coming to one conclusion of your own. As a manager I will be taking decision if that is going to
be my career option and as a manager I should be confident and make powerful statements so
that the people who are working under me are going to listen to me and appreciate my decisions
as well. I also have to work on being professional with my communication which is going to be
very good (Yu, 2017). I can create a friendly environment in air transport industry but being
professional is also as important as being friendly is. Time management is good skill which I
have developed over time but there has to be good maintenance in that factor as well so that the
business I would be working in can benefit from me. In future for career option I need to have a
good understanding which is going to be very helpful and the employees will be able to be able
to sustain in the company as well.

TASK 2
Three skills
There are a lot of skills which have to be present and needs to be improved in me so that
there is going to be a better future and career options open. The most important three skills which
I understood from the process of doing this project which have to be improved and explored
more so that there is going to be better chances for myself.
 Critical thinking
This skill is very essential in making any project or report which has to be improved for me
to become a part of the finance department in air transport industry. There are a lot of accidents
which can take place if there is going to be low thinking in this industry which is not going to be
good for the customers. Taking any decision or action which needs to be planned, there has to be
good thinking and critical as well so that there is a better functioning and performance which I
can improve (YÖRÜKOĞLU and et.al., 2017). There are a lot of gaps which can develop in
planning are there is going to be no critical thinking involved and is not good for a long run as
well. While planning for a career as a manager also one analyses all the factors which are in
favour and which are not in favour so that there is an improvement which can be made or career
option which can be changed according to the individual.
 Planning
There is planning which is required in all the activities which are performed because it gets in
a better sense of direction and the activity can be achieved faster. The companies want people
who will be able to plan effectively and to be a manager at an air transport industry I will have to
be able to plan everything out for better and organized working. There are a lot of people who
want to travel and due to this new situation which has risen in the world. There have to be more
planning which would be required therefore having the right knowledge and planning I will be
able to make this industry be able to operate again and become successful again (Gray, 2018).
The cases of Covid-19 are increasing which is making not just the customers but even the
employees to work in this sector and that fear needs to be worked up and planned so that the
industry will be able to make a place for them again like before. There is an involvement of a lot

of data collection and also a lot of government measures which have to be followed which needs
planning for the air transport industry to provide to the customers for their safety.
 Self confidence
I have this confidence in me which am good, since I have been working very hard for this
project to come out to its maximum result. Without self-confidence the industry has already
fallen in the world and if the industry wants to get back to normal they will have to take the right
measures which are going to make the industry have better functioning. Becoming a manager in
any industry, there is a requirement of having confidence otherwise the manager is not going to
be taken seriously in any of the industries and the business is not going to profit from this factor
as well (Königswieser and Hillebrand, 2016). Self confidence in achieving the goals for the
career for myself is present but there are more improvements which I have to make in my self
confidence so that the employees who would be working under me are also going to have blind
trust in the decisions I would be making for the organization.
