Self-development acts like a critical asset for an individual that will further aid within
enhancement of skills along with knowledge so that they can have edge in the future (Armstrong,
2018). This report is liable for gaining an insight into distinct skills that have been developed
while implementing project. In addition to this, it comprises of discussion related with
capabilities needed in future perspectives and accordingly action plan will be developed through
which overall improvisations can be made for eradicating skill gap that exist.
Task 1: Skills Analysis
Skills developed as an outcome of project
Each individual undergoes distinct projects to accomplish certain goals in their life. With
reference to this context, when it comes to academic to professional aspects things alter but
significance along with relevance for completion of project cannot be avoided. Undergoing
projects enables group of persons or individuals to cope up with diverse conditions that might
not be faced by them in future or entire life span. Thus, it acts like an opportunity for individuals
to conduct their project according to the demand and opt for relevant learning through which
they can enhance their efficiency. Such type of learning allows uplifting the existent capabilities,
competences, skill set and knowledge base. This results within conducting their functionalities in
enhanced manner with reference to future while working on any project.
I have carried out a project that needed usage off distinct skills so that affirmative results
can be attained. By conducting each stage in an adequate way, comprehensive knowledge has
been grasped as well as new skills are developed. Some of the acquired skills that have been
developed or improvised because of the project are specified beneath:
Time management: This is defined as ability of individual for organising as well as
planning for division of time in between distinct activities. The important skill that I have
developed while carrying out project is time management. This skill is liable for providing
assistance within prioritising tasks according to their significance as well as deadline. In addition
to this, I am able to attain project that is being assigned within peculiar time period according to
anticipations and requirements.
Team working and leadership: This implies abilities of individual for carrying out
collaborative working for attainment of unified goal. In addition to this, leadership refers to

capability that is possessed by an individual with intent for timely attainment of the goals. With
reference to this, the project implementation have assisted me within development of these skills
and thus conducting liabilities in the group by being n active member as well as managing all the
activities like a leader.
Communication skills: This is regarded like essence behind each activity or task. This is
defined as skill or ability of an individual for delivering views as well as thoughts in their mind.
With reference to this, the implementation of project has allowed within enhancement of
interactive skills via setting up communication in between different members as well as
communicates with them so that they can conduct their liabilities in accordance to tasks. This
will aid within enhancement of oral interaction but written abilities still needs to be worked on.
Things known that were not earlier known
While carrying out the project, I have learned various things that are not known to me
earlier. By being part of project, I have got an exposure to different conditions that have
amplified my knowledge as well as learning. In addition to this, the initial thing I have
acknowledged is significance of the management. It is crucial that activities along with tasks are
managed efficaciously to ensure that project can be completed according to predefined time. The
other aspect that is acknowledged while conducting the project is significance of opting for
measures so that problems that are faced by management can be eliminated completely and
ensures that all the liabilities are carried out as per desired standards. This will aid team within
performing cooperative as well as in collaborative manner to make sure that objectives and goals
are accomplished in given frame of time. In addition to this, I have learnt that the project can
succeed only in case if opinions and views of each individual present in the team have been
considered. This leads to maintain creativity this lead to generate sense of being valued.
Improvisation in confidence
When project is carried out, I have acknowledged various things that were unknown
when the process was carried out. This lead to enhancement within learning related with field
which further assisted within enhancement of confidence level. Along with this, I got an
opportunity for leveraging skill set for ensuring that projects are accomplished within allocated
frame of time without having any discrepancy. This leads to inflate the confidence in context that
learning have been enhanced which will further lead to provide better career opportunities.

Usage of learning in future career
The finding along with learning that I have undergone while carrying out the project for
different reasons has assisted me within enhancement of professional personality. This will lead
to have enhanced access to better career through which I will be able to exploit competences,
abilities and skills for that leads me to give my best while working on any project. Through
usage of these skills I will be able to excel within the projects that I am working on. This will
lead me to develop a good impression on the associates as well as firm with whom I will be
associating with in future perspectives. This means that I will be able to have enhanced career
opportunities which will facilitate me within professional development.

When project is carried out, I have identified that there are different skills in which there
lies the scope for making improvisations. There is a certain gap that is present in skills that
denotes discrepancy that might be faced at any instance of the time when future projects will be
carried out. This involves non-proficiency in skills that might create pessimistic influence within
future while delivering liabilities. Therefore, it is crucial that relevant measures are being taken
that must be implemented within the skill set for enhancing overall personality and will be also
apt for accessing career in the any branch. Action plan is referred to framework that will aid
individual to improvise or develop skills for attaining targeted proficiency within given span of
time. With reference to this, the action plan for improvising my skills have been developed and
