effective manner. Some of the major risk which are faced by SB technology is mention as
follow:
Prioritization to build software- Organisation wants to gain high ability to design and
develop effective software to gain competitive edge in market. The main aim of organisation is
to gain competitive edge in market to capture more market area in industry. Like WN provide
software at low prices. So it results majority of the UK market is cover by them but the major

organisation.
Managing the software- Organisation or the department of SB technology are
performing their work at al large level. Like to coordinate between hardware and software
products. So it is essential to manage the work as per their functions and plans that roll out

managing quality and delivery time for its products. It results this is easy to maintain high quality
of products through performing all work in organised and proper manner.
Change in technology- The existing market environment of the organisation is too
complicated because of regular changes in policies and needs of customer's. So the major
challenge that is faced by organisation relates with selecting of exact locations and to raise right
sources for organisation to make effective design for new software. Moreover, to manage the risk

the availability of cheap labour (Marcelino-Sádaba and et. al., 2014). While the company face
issues in outsourcing regarding the quality of products in this country as there is the low control
over business activities. The company shifting their operations from Far East to USA so that
better governance can be preserved on activities that will assist in monitoring the work quality.

portfolio and project management can assist in increasing the company's capabilities from level 2
to 3 that are necessary for the growth and development of an organisation. This will help in
accomplishing objectives in an effective and efficient manner and can get desired outcomes
within the upcoming 2 years. If the change project or programme completed in 2 years then the
key milestone of SB can be attained effectively so that the company's board of director (BOD)
can measures the project progress.

Contracting and supplier management.
The term procuring relates with obtaining all resources by evaluating all existing options
for the organisation so that the right option will be selected to gain right items at low prices. On
the other side, it leads individuals to add more value in the organisational process that is spent by
organisation in both terms whether qualitative or quantitative. On the other side, to search the
right supplier SB must focus and compare price, quality and quantity of products that is offered
by supplier. On the other side, selection also be placed from government perspective. It refers
that government approved supplier provide better products at reasonable rate in order to make
their better reputation in market (Silvius and Schipper, 2014).
Organisation also contracts to build better consultancy to develop right building for the
work. It is also necessary to gain all right and appropriate information. The last experience with
the DCC is not good for SB technology. Therefore, it is mandatory to select right centre of
excellence due to which all task are performed by management in proper manner. The main aim
of organisation is to manage all functional units in the Central London to capture more area of
Europe. On the other side, with the proper consultancy firm the organisation manage their
location to construct their building in the centre and sources of finance in proper manner so
better products will be gathered to design suitable location and premises for organisation.
Further, it also helps to select cost effective location with a pleasant working environment inside
the organisational premises to perform all operations in effective and efficient manner.
PART B

The framework or techniques of project management refers to the several procedures,
tools, activities etc. that are required for executing the programme activities in a systematic as
well as efficient way. These frameworks are needed by the company SB so that they can be able
to planned, monitored and controlled tasks in a well organised manner and accomplish desired
outcomes. SB can use two frameworks such as Agile and Waterfall techniques so that
programme can be performed effectively. In this, Agile technique is more suitable for designing
and guiding the procedures of task as it focused on the development of small sections for

addition, the advantages of Agile is that as it assists in facilitating high customer satisfaction
through which the effective delivery of software to the potential customers which results in the
growth as well as development of SB technology company (Veckie and Veckie, 2015). Whereas,
the disadvantages of Agile is that as it is complex or hard to measures the efforts that are needed
to be implementing the cycle of software development. Also, there is less focus on essential
planning and documentation that are needed to be performed tasks in an effective manner.
Second is the waterfall framework of programme management procedure which is a
breakdown structure of entire project activities into a linear sequences stages where all phases
are based on the preceding one that helps in completing tasks in a systematic form. In addition,
the advantages of waterfall framework is that it helps in identifying the required resources and
tools for task performance at the beginning of project activities that stay constant through all
work (Akwetey, 2015). In addition, it helps in maintaining the detailed documentations which
results in the sequential and effective completion of programmes. Whereas, waterfall model of
project management process is less flexible because of the essential requirements of tasks are pre
determined at the beginning phase of cycle. Also, this type of model or technique required strict
sets of rules and regulations in order to monitor the activities for completing them within a
certain period of time.
Critically justify the framework and analyse.
In this case study, agile technique of project management procedure is chosen within the
context of SB technology. As this will assists the company in designing many software solutions
to their customers so that they can attract large number of customers that will aid the SB
technology in facilitating effective integrated software system and can get higher rate of
customers satisfaction. As this also assists in developing better software that offers adequate
solutions to their customers as well as the company SB technology can accomplish their
objectives effectively. It is closely related to the SB as the company deals in hardware solutions
and in order to enter into a software marketplace they needs to facilitate innovative as well as
unique solutions to their clients.
Whereas some challenges can be faced by the SB technology that are related to the lack
of coordination and cooperation between the members and in computing the required
deliverables for developing a software (Lacerda and et. al., 2014). These creates threats for the
company SB technology while they planning to acquire WN that needs to be more investment as
Document Page
well as development of new software continuously that will lead in the raising financial burden
on the company.
Reflect by facilitating clear recommendations.
As a reflection on the choice of Agile framework for project management procedure with
the regards of SB technology, it creates influences on the outcomes that will be accomplished
project activities and it is essential to make a clear choice of management procedure techniques.
This choice helps in increasing the programme performance and can results in high profitability
of a company. The company SB technology can use agile framework of project management
procedure which will assist in developing a effective range of software which helps in attracting
more number of customers or clients. There are also some specific recommendations for the SB
technology in order to complete their project activities in an effective way and within the set time
frame. These are as follows:
The company should require to choose a consultancy company in England in order to
select suitable and approachable location for effectively and successfully completion of
project work.
The company SB technology should need to be developed appropriate communication
system within their working premises so that all staff members can effectively interact
and communicate with each others.
The company SB technology requires to employ or hire those people who have diverse
sets of knowledge and skills so that they can be develop new software solutions rapidly
and workers suggest appropriate ideas with effective solutions.

It has been summarised from the above report that to stay for longer period of time in a
competitive marketplace it is necessary for businesses to adopts modern techniques at their
working environment. The company is able to expands their operations when they comes with
unique range of products and overcomes from the challenges on time. Several programmes
related to the strategic transformation is analysed so that strategies can be appropriately
formulated as per the situations or risk. Whereas, strategic risk management helps in solving all
issues immediately in order to get effective and productive end results. Highly focused on the
how an organisation should organise their structure for delivery of good practices and
