INTRODUCTION
Business environment is dynamic in nature which creates several problems in working. It
is not possible that all the problems can be solved by management and in order to take expert
advice the management is require to hire a consultant for the same. This report is about a
consultant who provides expert advices to the clients (Iszatt-White, and Lenney, 2020). These
projects have a great impact on the skills, knowledge and abilities of an individual. I, as a
consultant, get a project in which client has provided various information regarding their
business problem. This report contains the skills, knowledge and abilities that I have developed
with the help of this project. It also provides the level of confidence and learnings I have
developed with this project and also contains my action plan to develop three of my skills to
develop my business career.

TASK 1
Skills developed or enhanced
The project which has been provided by the client requires me to develop several skills in
order to manage and complete the project in timely manner I have developed various skills that
are explained below:
Professional Communication skills: In order to communicate with the client I need to
develop effective communication skills. In order to communicate with client it is essential that
they are communicated in a professional manner (10 Communication Skills Every Young
Professional Needs to Know, 2017). This helps me to develop my professional communication
skills. I need to communicate with the client so many times in between the project for which I
have gone through a proper script which helps me to develop my professional communication
skills. The solutions which are provided to the clients for their problem is also in professional
language and in professional manner which requires an effective professional communication
skills and success of this projects is a sign of development of professional communication skills.
Time management Skills: The project which has been taken by me requires to be
completed in a given time frame. This requires that the activities of the project should be divided
in smaller parts and assigned a proper time for the same (Boswood, 2020). To make a proper

time frame it requires time management skills. In order to complete the work in give deadline I
have developed my time management skills.
Team working: In order to provide expert solution to the client I have required to hire
experts in my team. As the problem is relate to business and it requires to be provided a solution
which is best suited with a proper discussion with the team and research on the business
organisation. This discussion helps me to learn how to work in a team and enhance my team
working skills.
Leadership qualities: All the process of client's project is handled by me and I have
required to direct and guide my whole team to work effectively on the project. There are so many
problems that arise between the team which I had managed with my problem solving approach
and analytical skills. This helps me to develop my leadership qualities and manage the project in
effective manner. Managing a team is a difficult task and requires a lot of innovative techniques.
Apart from this I need some innovative ideas from my team which requires an effective
leadership. With the help of this project I have developed several leadership skills.
Knowledge Gained
Apart from the skills that are discussed above this project also helps me to develop my
knowledge related to problem associated with the project (Sato, and Horne, 2020). When I have
analysed the process of project I haver gained various knowledge which is very necessary for the
purpose of this project. The knowledge I have gained with the project can be explained with the
help of below given points:
 I need to recruit the new experts to solve the problem of the client in effective manner
which requires a proper knowledge of recruitment. I have analysed that I did not have any
knowledge related to recruitment before this project and now I have developed a
knowledge that is required to recruit employees in an organisation.
 I have faced several problems and challenges in recruitment especially when I have
decided to use the higher education recruitment. Before I did not even familiar with the
concept of higher education recruitment but later I learned from this kind of recruitment
that it is really tough to choose right people for the right place. The challenge is that the
students of higher education has good theoretical knowledge but lack in practical as well
as professionalism in the group. I have learned to make them effective for the company.

 The competition in the higher education recruitment helps me to know more about
various institutes who provide higher education to the students and learn about their
efficiencies in their field which is also a good sign of knowledge regarding experts that
are essential in a company (CAMPILLO, HERNáNDEZ, and CANTANO, 2021).
 Another knowledge I have get is related to the problem of client. The research related to
the clients problem helps me to develop my knowledge related to that kind of problem in
business. The problem when I get was completely new to me but discussion with my
team members helps me to develop my knowledge regarding its possible solutions.
 The development of various skills that are discussed above has also developed my
knowledge regarding the importance of those skills in real life and future career as I was
a person who does not know the value of skills in my life.
Improvement in the level of Confidence
The completion of a project helps an individual to improve and enhance their self confidence to
do a work in effective manner. I have provided my project on time to the client and also develop
my professional communication skills. This has developed a level of confidence in me that I am
able to complete my work in a given time frame. Apart from this I have also analysed that the
development of my professional communication skills has also developed a self confidence in
me to talk with people and face them. I have analysed that now I am able to communicate with
more clients in effective manner and has an ability to attract them towards my business with my
effective communication skills. This helps me to develop a different level of confidence in me to
manage various situation in effective manner (Alotaibi, 2021).
Use of Learning for future projects
Learning is very essential and can be used by an individual in all their life. This project also
helps me to develop my skills and knowledge that will be proven to be a gemstone for my future
projects. The project helps me to learn various things that are needed to make a project effective.
All the learnings I have learned with the project assigned by the client will help me in my future
projects. This project helps me in developing professional communication skills that are very
essential to attract new clients towards my team. Apart from attracting clients in the business I
have also developed my leadership qualities with the help of this project which is very essential
for my future projects. The current project helps me to learn working in a team which is very
essential for my career as a consultant is require to take effective decisions only after taking

advice of experts for the same. The project requires to solve many problems that can be arose in
any business and this knowledge will help me to deal with various problems in future with my
business or with the business of my clients (Харківська, and Малихіна, 2021).

CONCLUSION
The above discussion helps to conclude that a consultant project also help an individual
to develop their several skills and knowledge. I have developed several effective skills with the
help of solving the problem of my client such as professional communication, time management,
team working and leadership quality and many more. It also provide knowledge related to the
recruitment of people for the problem and develop a different level of confidence in me. The
learning I have got with this project will help me to develop my future career. All this helped me
to understand the skills I need to develop and then I have developed action plan to enhance and
improve those skills in a limited time.
