INTRODUCTION
Business environment is defined as the set of various internal as well as external factors
that impacts business performance and practices in positive as well as negative manner. In
business various problems are raised due to complexity of current business environment.
Problems are related to employees and management of organisation that affect business
efficiency and effectiveness. It becomes important for organisation to solve these issues in order
to sustain in competitive business environment. It is necessary to develop some specific skills
that help business to resolve sudden problems and run business operations with efficiency. This
report covers discussion of various skills gaps that help in learning process and solve client's
problem. Career learning as well as action plan in being explained in this report.
MAIN BODY
TASK 1
Which skills have you developed and/or enhanced as a result of the project
It is the college project in which I have taken participation as a human resource
consultant in order to resolve business problem. It is observed by me that employee retention is
the biggest problem which is regularly increasing. To resolve this problem as a HR consultant
have conducted a meeting in which organisational employee are invited for the purpose of
finding root cause of problem. During meeting, I have realise that effective communication skills
play significant role in resolving employees related problems. It is necessary to involve
employees in decision-making process that enhances there engagement level as well as
encourage them to attain determined goals and objectives in efficient manner (Bratton,and Gold,
2017). As per the result of project, I have analysed that there is various skills are developed in
my personality that help me to perform defined task in proper way. In the employee engagement
session, communication skills, coordination skills, time-management and various other skills that
help me to mould employees behaviour towards organisation. Communication skill help me to
communicate with employees and understanding their point of view and resolve their problems.
As I lead the meeting that improves my leadership quality that help me to perform defined
operations in right direction and attain business goals and objectives. As a result of this project, I

What do you know now that you didn’t know at the start of the process?
In the starting phrase of process, there is various things that which I did not know impacts
overall effectiveness of project. There is various HR challenges are faced by me due to lake of
understanding regarding higher eduction recruitment (Wild, 2017). I have knowledge and
understanding related to different HR challenges that are raised in business such as talent
management, conflicts among employees and various other. But after conducting the project, I
have learnt various challenges that might be faced by me such as talent retention, employee
health and well-being, managing relationships, diversity at workplace and training as well as
development strategies. Along with that, I have learnt different HR operations and functions and
how to modify them according to situations. During the process, as a HR consultant have
analysed that higher education recruitment is the most appropriate method to recruit talented and
skilled employee in organisation. It is also termed as the campus recruitment which is used by
the organisation to recruit employees in organisation (Jordan, ed., 2020). I have faced various
difficulties in understanding perceptive of every member which is different of every one from
each other. Before conducting this project, I have no understanding regarding difficulties in
management but after starting project, I have learnt about challenges that are faced by an
organisation in managing project work in efficient manner.
To what extent has your level of confidence improved
It is realised by me that through conducting the process or meeting, there is high level of
confidence is improved that help me to perform defined operations with great efficiency and
effectiveness. As per the participating in this project, I have felt that my confidence level is boost
in terms of communicating with others and understanding with them. Before that, I was not able
to interact or communicate with employees properly that impacts employees motivation and
inspiration. Along with that, I have analysed that my time-management and coordination skills
are improved that help me to manage employees and work in best possible manner (King-White,
2018). All these things boost my confidence level that enable me to attain determined goals and
objectives in efficient manner.
