INTRODUCTION
Skills of an individual who is seeking a job are considered as one of the most significant
element in order to get the job within a reputed organisation. If a person does not have skills then
it cannot be selected in the recruitment period. Some of the crucial knowledge and skills get
achieved by facing the challenges that occur in life. Within the project, those skills that are
collected from the situations of challenges are going to be presented and along with it, the
changes within the processes will also be discussed in a proper way (Brandi and Elkjaer, 2019).
Furthermore, the implementation of learning of skills is also going to be described and evaluated.
Moreover, an effective action plan will be conducted in order to present the approach of skills
development.

TASK 1
Skills development from project
Many skills are obtained in a short period of time after executing the project with team
members. Every member of the team gave their proper devotion in regard to activities and it
leads all of us to be more efficient in various skills. I have acquired many skills such as
marketing and leadership skills, social media operating skills, writing skills, meeting and
communication skills and many more. These skills are holds so much of importance in my career
life. The knowledge that I have gained and the skills that I have acquired can be fruitful for me
on each stage of my occupation life. All these knowledge and skills are extremely valuable for
being chosen and acquiring higher position in the profession.
My previous learnings
Before executing in this difficult scenario along with the team members, I am lacking in
different skills that are essential for my potential journey in course of life.
Prior to initiating the actions within the respective process, I am lacking in acquiring the
knowledge about appropriate communication way to alleviating circumstances with distinct type
of individuals (Lawrence, 2019). Furthermore, I was not able to accomplish my informal
writings in effective way and several social media applications were not known to me. In
addition to this, I was unknown to the way of formation of online meetings with different parties

upcoming future or in my upcomimg career life. Now I can effectively put into practice, the
knowledge and skills that I have gained from this process in the real world as I have sufficient
proficiency on these skills. Through these skills and understandings I have gained adequate
confidence in my tasks. Because of this confidence, I got more inspiration to acquire knowledge
of these skills for my upcoming career opportunities. Due to this efficient learning I have become
more expertise and it increased my confidence level. Now the confidence that has built in me is
at high level.
Learnings Implementation
First of all, I faced such situations that were challenges for me along with the members of
team in order to develop appropriate knowledge and proper set of skills that are necessary in my
career life. For doing so, I have performed all these different actions. Through the process of
learning such skills, I also have made efforts to learn the implementation of knowledge as well as
such skills in my practical life. Such types of knowledge and skills are needed in most of the
career fields, therefore the application of these skills are greatly needed. For instance, within the
workplace, human resources are required to interact with almost every stakeholder of the
business and at that time, communication skills made easier for manpower in order to
communicate with these stakeholders (McLeod and Schapper, 2020). Likewise, leadership skill
is also highly needed for workforce because by having such kind of skill, I can facilitate the
workers through leading and guiding them towards the accomplishment of task and business
objectives. Thirdly, within this recent period, activities are required to operate at the platform of
social media due to pandemic situation of COVID-19. At last, meeting skills are highly required
to employees as with the help of this skill, I can meet with various clients that are concerned with
the organisation. By having appropriate execution of all such acquired skills within career life, it
will help me in enhancing my career opportunities. Along with it, I also required to develop
some more skills to get more success in my career life.

Action plan for skills development
In order to become more professional in organisational life, human resources are required
to have a lot of skills in order to perform multiple roles within an organisation. Manpower are
also required to evolve various kinds of skills because of the dynamic situations. By having
appropriate development of skills and knowledge, an individual can get success within the
workplace in an effective manner. For achieving these skills and knowledge, an action plan with
SMART Objectives can be considered as an effective approach (Oliver and et.al., 2018). Within
this action plan, all the details are shown regarding what is required to do and the process of
doing it. In this project, three distinct gaps are chosen that are also selected as goals and these are
in relation with the development of different like reading skills, time management skills and
presentation skills. These types of skills are necessarily required in order to become more
professional and expert within the workplace. The Action Plan is given as below with the
objectives to achieve:
Goal 1: Developing Time Management Skills
Time management skills provide assistance to an employee in performing each job role in
a proper and perfect manner within the organisation. This kind of skill has helped an employee
through enhancing its productivity as well as efficiency because of the appropriate execution of
time management skill (Scott and Shelton, 2019). Within such type of skill, human resources
have made efforts in order to accomplish the work in a particular time period and I have found
such skill as my skill gap.
