A brief description of Hilton hotel
Hilton hotel is flagship brand of Hilton and it is leading brands at the global level. The original
Hilton hotel was founded in 1919 by Conrad Hilton. The brand has been targeted by both leisure
travelers and business. It targeted the location such as major city, convention centers, near
airports and famous vacation destination in around the globe. Hilton hotel contributes in Hilton
honor and loyalty program for Hilton guest. Members who book directly via Hilton-owned
channels may get exclusive discounts and service such as digital check-in, Wi-Fi, ability to
choose room they had like using the Hilton honor app, and keyless entry (Hilton hotels and
resorts, 2018).
Hospitality industry Description
In the service industry, hospitality sector covers wide area in which it consider many activities
like cruise line, event planning, lodging, theme parks, and transportation. It could be effective to
accomplish desire needs of consumers. Moreover, hospitality commerce is a multibillion-dollar
sector that is relied on disposable income and leisure time availability. There are different
element considered in hospitality units such as restaurant, an amusement park, hotel and multiple
groups like facility maintenance and direct operations (Australian Bureau of statistics, 2018). It
also involves the assessment of housekeepers, servers, kitchen workers, porters, marketing,
bartenders, management, and human resources.

I will use different theoretical model and concepts to respond to assessment 2 such as Personal
SWOT analysis and use both primary (collected by you) and secondary (collected by others) data
to assess the depth information regarding the company. I will also use Laureate Professional

Competencies framework and Gallup Reports to assess the company’s information. I will also
assess the stakeholders in Hilton hotel. I will also assess specific skills, experience,
competencies, and behaviors in order to personally develop skills, to enhance my employability
and potential for advancement in the future. I will also analyze the induction, training,
professional development and succession planning that is conducted by Hilton for its employees.
I will also review the organizational reports and company collateral.
Justification of how your plan for Assessment 2 will enhance your employability, in the
future
This proposal will be beneficial to enhance my employability in the future. This proposal plans
to conduct the personal SWOT assessment that is beneficial to assess my strength, weakness,
opportunity, and threats (Hilton hotels and resorts, 2018). By using this tool, I will improve my
strength and decline the weakness and threats. I will also analyze my specific skills, experience,
competencies, and behaviors that will enhance my employability in the future. I will also develop
an understanding regarding different stakeholders that operate in the hospitality industry and
Hilton Hotel as it would be beneficial to enhance my employability and make a bright future in
the Hilton hotel in future.
