INTRODUCTION
The practice based on consultancy is considered as one of the crucial approaches which
helps an individual to take assistance from third party experience (Brandi, and Elkjaer, 2019).
This is one of the key ethical roles and responsibilities of a candidate to develop a focused
approach in taking consultancy in order to develop professional approach. This is one of the
major roles of an individual to take support and guidance from consultancy in order to
effectively perform duties at the workplace. This report will cover key concepts which are
related to project development and management. This project will include focus on development
of various competencies and skills which are required for systematic growth and development.
This report will also cover description of major three skills which are required for overall growth
of an individual. The project will also include significance of planning and strategic framework
which are required to support an individual in growth and expansion.

TASK 1
A brief description and overview of the concerned project
My project was “ Increasing motivation in the life'' which help an individual to develop
focused approach. I consider that motivation is one of the major factors which helps in
development of emotional intelligence and moral in an individual. While completing the project I
discovered various skills which will increase my confidence and develop a major personality. In
the future, I will develop primary focus on skills which I learned during the project and
implement them in the real life. The skills which I gained and attained through the project will
help me to gain growth in further development.
The competencies and skills which are developed with the help and assistance of the project
While completing the project I have gone through various challenges and issues which
are to be overcome with the help of strategic choices (Eddy, and Solomon, 2017). I have also
developed key and major skills which will help me to increase my overall potential and
strengths. The developed skills during the completion of the project are mentioned below:
 Leadership skills- I have gained and developed leadership skills which are important for
me to increase my management approaches. I can now easily handle a team with major
efforts in order to develop and formulate desired results. The leadership skills I developed
will also help me to manage my subordinate team members in a precise manner.
 Time management- According to me, time management skills are most important part of
an individual's life. These skills will help me to improve my confidence and increase the
management of daily routine tasks.
 Communication skills- The communication skills are most important part of the
individual's personal and professional life (Haffar, Djebarni, and Evans, 2019). It is
essential for a person to learn communication skills in a professional manner to achieve
effectiveness. The communication skills will also help me to improve my coordination
skills.

The key aspects which are known before the starting of process and things which are not known
It is essential for a candidate to learn the system and process in order to increase the
overall focus on development of the process. I knew how to handle the pressure before starting
of a project and it helped me a lot. I also know about planning and developing policies which are
required to successfully approach a project. I faced problems related to risk, in order to deal with
the risk, I focused on developing and formulating a risk management approach. At the starting of
project, there was lack of professionalism which helped me to increase my approach towards
utilising key resources in an effective manner (Iszatt-White, Gilchrist, and Lenney, 2017). I also
gained knowledge related to developing supervision and control on the process which helped me
to achieve key goals and objectives. At the starting of process I also didn't knew how to
overcome management and leadership related issues. I also don't know how to handle major
responsibilities with key effectiveness and development in order to achieve goals and objectives.
Confidence and its improvement with the support of project developed
It is very much necessary for an individual to develop a major focus on increasing the
confidence. I have developed confidence while completing the project in a well and advanced
manner. In order to gain competitive advantage in the academic life, it is essential for a candidate
to focus on development of confidence. My confidence improved a lot while completing the
project and it will also help me to improve my skills in the academic development. The
confidence is considered as one the major approaches which helps a candidate to enhance
personality (Knowles, and Manville, 2017). I have gained positivism while approaching the key
consequences and challenges of the business entity. I will use this confidence in my major
development based activities in order to increase the potential and develop focused approach
related to my career field.
The application of key learnings in the career development for achievement of competitive
advantage
It is very much essential for me to apply various skills and competencies which will make
my career more bright. The team management skills which I have developed will help me to
manage many employees who are subordinate to me. Also in my future career, I will apply key
competencies and skills in order to increase the overall potential of mine. I will increase key

skills in a more precise manner to gain career based opportunities (McColl, 2020). I will also
apply my skills in order to perform task and functions in a more advanced manner.

The major three skills and areas which are to be taken into consideration by me to facilitate
further development ( Background from task 1)
The skill improvement is one of the major aspects of career development which will help
me to develop knowledge and competency level (Mishra, 2018). In order to gain competency
edge in further development I have focused on the following three skills:
 Time management skills- The management skills are most crucial part of an individual's
life in order to manage routine tasks. The key function of an individual to focus on
development of time management skills in order to gain competitive advantage. The time
management skills will help me to improve my time table and its implementation.
 Critical thinking skills- In order to gain success in the professional and personal life, it
is important for me to develop critical thinking skills (Oliver, McNamee, and Draper,
2018). The development of critical thinking skills will help me to gain growth and
expansion in career development. I will now focus on increasing my critical thinking
skills in order to ensure optimum development.
 Culture management skills- The culture management is one of the major functions of
an individual in the business world. I have focusing on increasing my culture
management based skills in order to increase my key strengths and capabilities.

This project concludes that in the personal and professional life of an individual, it is
essential to focus on consultancy. The act of consultancy provides major solutions to an
individual in terms of carrying out a project in a successful manner. This project concludes the
relevance of skills and competencies development which helps in creating dynamic personality
of an individual. This project report also concludes development of three key skills which are
helpful in personality and career development. The report also concludes importance of plans
and policies which are required for systematic development of an individual.
