INTRODUCTION
It is very important for the management of the organisation to consult someone to expand
their business in a very effective manner. The practice of consulting within the the business is the
essential activity which assist the company management in taking the right decision (Ijntema and
et. al., 2019)1. So it is very crucial for the LSST to consult to the professional in order to expand
the business. The business consulting is basically a form which evolve from the expectations of
the customers and new technologies which are entering into the sectors. As the environment of
the business is very dynamic in nature so it is very important for them to consult, in order to
understand the best approach for the growth of the business. The following report is going to
cover the different types of skill which are developed during the project and what new things is
learned. This report also covers that to what extent the level of confidence is improved and how
this learning assist in future career. In addition to this, this report also paid focus on the three
skill gaps where the development is needed and a job description with CV.
TASK 1
Which skills have you developed and/or enhanced as a result of the project: -
During this project different types of skills as well as knowledge has been developed as
well as enhanced by me. The project comprises of a plan which need to be developed in order to
attain the goals and objectives. It is very important for the LSST university to expand its
organisation for which the expansion of the firm in the market is required. Following are the
skill which is developed has been mentioned below: -
Team management skills: - during this project, the time management skill has been
developed by me because the task which is assigned need to be completed within the give
period of time. So it is very crucial for me to effective manage the time and complete the
assignment within the set time limit (Jewellm, Jewell and Kaufman, 2022). Limited
period of time has been given by the client for the expansion of the university so that
huge base of students attract towards the university for various courses.
Critical thinking: - This is being considered as the another important skill which is
developed by me during this project. The development of this skill assist me to think

different types of effective solutions. In order to expand the business I was able to think
out of the box by which attractive strategies has been developed by me. From the my
point of view this is the most important skill which I have developed because of this
project.
What do you know now that you didn’t know at the start of the process?
At the initial stage of this project, I don't known about the different forms of digital
marketing technologies by which effective marketing campaign is developed. But while
conducted this project for the client various types of digital marketing technologies such as
search engine marketing, social media marketing, display advertising and many more has been
learned by me which helps me in understanding that how to attract the customers (Lowman and
Cooper, 2018). I also learned that these digital platform has high power to attract large base of
customers and with the help of these expansion can be done effectively. Along with this, I also
learn about the different types of programme which assist the students in making their future
better and developed the career. During this project I also get to know about, how to use the
social media as a tool of digital marketing which improves the productiveness of the firm.
To what extent has your level of confidence improved?
For the project I was appointed as a consultant. I have to give advice to LSST for the
expansion of the project. This not only assist me in developing different types of skills with me
but also boost up my confidence. At the starting of the project my confidence level is very low
because of the deadline of the project. The time period for completing the project is too less and
this made me disappointed. But somehow I took the responsibility on my shoulders and manage
the work in a very effective manner. This result in that I was able to complete the project before
the deadline. The management structure of the university is analysed by me and I determined that
many mistakes has made by the university and it is very important to resolve all these mistakes
in order to expand the university (Mroz and et. al., 2021). The resources like fund, labour and
many more are very limited and these act as a obstacle for me which came in my way for
completing the project. It is very difficult for me to face all these complexities. But I was
confident that somehow I will manage the work and complete the project with the limited
resources. This thinking helps me in boosting up my confidence and all the staff management
appreciate me for this. It is being realised by me that this thinking fills confidence in me and I
was very happy to recognized this. As the project is completed by me before the deadline, this

How could you use your learning in your future career?
As different types of skills is acquired by me during this project and I will effectively
implement all these learning in future. With the help of this skill I can effectively work with my
team members by which team spirit can build. I understood the importance of the team members
along with their contribution in achieving the defined goals and I realize that the team members
contribution is irreplaceable. When I will working in a multinational company and I have to
manage multiple team, at that time these skill assist me attaining the goals of project. I
understand that it is very important to bind a team together because this is the only way to attain
the goal, without collaboration the goals can't be attain (Nissen, Nissen and Rauscher, 2019). If
in future I face any problem in relation to my work then critical thinking skill used by me. First I
will analyse the cause of problem and after this, evaluate the different alternative and then opt
the effective solution to handle the problem.
