Introduction
Social media is the biggest digital market a company promote firm’s product and services.
Today, the role of social media platform is having a great significance on the business and its
long term profitability. There are various online media such as Facebook, Instagram and You
Tube etc. It can help to update and provide relevant information which are related with the
products and services (Barbanti and et.al., 2014). Through such media platforms they can also
conduct market research and feedback which can help to get customer changing needs and
demand so that they can make their products and services in an appropriate manner. The role of
Innovation and technology is too important which can help to increase their sales and market
revenue which can leads to increase profitability of the business which is one of the common
goal for each and every business unit. The present report is based on the Tesco which is one of

According to this research project we have plan to attempt following research on the
topics with references to Tesco a retailer market company. In the first segment which is
introduction of the plan in this we would give a small summarised view about the retail industry
and than we describe about the Tesco company this company will have market share in retail
industry. Tesco use various marketing tools just to attract large number of customers towards
their industry.
Under the second segment which is literature review in this we would collect information about
different ways of social marketing of the product and services. Then we identify the media which
