INTRODUCTION
Consumer voice refers to the source for improving quality of care for long term. In this
include care educations, advocacy and policy analysis at both level as state and federal. There are
various organisation who ongoing work for resolving various issues such as inadequate staffs in
nursing home, maintaining rights of residents and their empowerment etc. every individual who
experience regarding mental health issues which helps in finding that each person's journey is
unique (Bird, 2014). This report will support to understand the consumer experience regarding
mental health issues as well as how nurses are can support for recovering consumers.
TASK
This article defined that, The recovery represents a latest paradigm in mental health
which introduced for transforming systems of care in the world. It is new principle that provide
guidelines for designing and delivering of mental health services to the consumer. Recovery
derives from various disparate bodies regarding mental health.
In this define the evidence for people that they can recover from mental illness in
effective manner for their well-being or welfare. The concept of recovery generally include
individual responsibility by taking control of life, acceptance of illness, identify and
empowerment, and advocacy (Briggs, 2011). On the other side, it involves some other important
factors such as medications, symptoms, understand the individual's illness, developing a positive
or healthy lifestyle and having peer support for the purpose of improving health of particular
person.
PRINCIPLES OF RECOVERY
This principles generally concern with recovery oriented mental health practices which
are related with 10 countries standard. Principles of recovery applies at entire systems of mental
health services including non government community. As per the individual perspective
regarding mental illness, recovery can be consider various components such as gaining and
retaining hope, understand patient's abilities as well as disabilities, engagement in an life,
identifying socialism, personal autonomy and positive sense of self.
It is the duty of nurses that support to the consumers for recovery from mental illness and
improve their health conditions so that patients will experience more by getting several kinds of
facilities from health care centre. It is beneficial for both patients and nursing home that they can
develop by providing appropriate facilities as well as services in effective manner.

In this consider recovery frame work for improving the conditions which experienced by person
regarding hope, healing and connections with nursing homes and healthcare centre.
Nurses usually consider the uniqueness of the individual as they are different from others
by having behave, nature and thoughts. Therefore, nurses or doctors required to give better
services and facilities so that patients will motivate and feel relax from any kinds of diseases. For
every individuals, the acceptance of recovery outcomes which must be unique as it focus on
quality of life (Gehart, 2012). Nurses also concentrate regarding empowering individuals or
customers so that they will feel as the centre of care which they receive.
For providing better experience to the people regarding recovering them from mental
illness, nurses focus on peer support within the health care centre as it is an essential which bring
range of benefits like familiarity, friendship, empowerment, reduction of stigma and insight
recovery. This peer support is also helpful in bringing significant improvements in the service
cultures towards health care sectors. It is can be provide through professionally as well as
informal ways through friendship and support groups. On the other side, nurses also consider the
Attitudes and rights in which involves listening, learning as well as acting by proper
communication from every and each individuals so that they will prefer more to get treatments
for recovering from mental illness or any health issues. This is also an another important of
nurses which can support in maintaining and developing individuals or society, recreations and
vocational activities in effective and efficient manner.
As per consumers voices, it can be identify that dignity and respect must be required for
better recovery. Staff members of nursing home give best services to patients and try to recover
them for improving their health as physical and mental. Customers can get experience by taking
respects, motivations, friendly environment, create honesty and positive health so these all are
depends on the proper interactions among people at the mental health sector. For every
healthcare centre, it must be compulsory to recognise individuals health conditions including
diseases, mental problems or issues and many more related with health and safety so that proper
treatments can be given to them (Greenberg, 2012). Recovery is an important thing for every
consumers because this concept elaborate regarding mental issues or health of individuals which
must be improve with providing better experiences to them.
Recovery has various principles in which includes the partnerships and communications
as each or every individuals are experts on their own life so this recovery indicate that working

beingness in an appropriate manner.

From the above project report, it has been concluded that recovery is defined as the
important aspects for improving consumers health by providing several types of facilities and
services to them. Nurses play vital role in getting recovery from mental health issues as well as
mental illness in an effective manner. This report is based on principles of recovery paradigm
which can be useful for integration into mental health nursing practices in better ways.
