Immigration – It is an international movement of individuals into a country of which
they are not native to settle down at there with an aim of taking up unemployment, as a foreign
worker or as a migrant worker.
Beneficial of immigration – It fuels the economy, as while immigrants enter into labour
force; this results enhancement of productivity capabilities as well as improve GDP rate. Along
with this, immigration acts as a grease of labour market by flowing into industries and areas
where there is higher need of workforce. Immigrants are more likely to move than natives and
by, thus by reliveing these expansion, immigrants raise the speed of an economy. Furthermore,
immigration aids the number of available employees who can dwindle at the time when other
labourers immigrate to other society in order to earn high and improve their lifestyle.
Detrimental of immigrations – Hiring immigrants present a challenge while conducting
businesses. For instance – if people does not have full command over English, thus various
facilities are faced by an organisation. Despite federal control of many immigration components,
such as- naturalization proceedings and border control, states may still adopt laws that restrict the
rights of immigrants (Kraidy, 2017).
Laws and the individuals – Laws consists with rules and regulations which bind all
persons in a community; it protect people from any kind of harm and also ensure rights of other
people. As many citizens get abused by people, organisations etc. For example - speed limits
and traffic laws are executed as people can drive in safe manner. Laws that come from the Bill of
Rights in the British. Constitution, that guarantee our basic freedoms like freedom of speech,
religion, and the press. These are also generated to protect local communities from any kind of
discrimination, i.e. race, age, gender and disabilities. On the other hand, health and safety law is
regulated to protect people health at workplace; its aim is to deliver healthy and safe working
environmental to individuals so as to gain high productivity.
Detrimental of laws – The prime disadvantage of law is rigidity of law. An idealistic legal
system is focused on keep changing as per the changing needs of people. Thus, laws should be
formulated in order to fulfil individuals needs and cannot isolate itself from them. Although,
more focused is put on the law than its substances; it consumes lot of timings and to raise
technical objections (Laws, Hogendoorn and Karl, 2014). Laws also increases complexity of the
situation, henceforth effective efforts must be made for making law as simplistic as possible. But
every law cannot be simple due to modern nature of society.
