empowerment approach to diabetes education and treatment. Over 5% of people living in UK now have
diabetes and this figure is increasing. But these issues need to be learned by other people as they are in
the need of others. A social perspective on diabetes states that infants get used to unhealthy diet if elders
desire to do so. As per social cognitive theory, young adults can see the negative behaviour of their
adults by looking them eating unhygienic food, in other words, it has been determined that government
experience loss of revenues gathered from taxation on fast-food associated production. Based on the
research reports, government has gained over £12.1 billion of income from food stuff related taxes
(Patel and Rushefsky, 2014).
2. An analysis of how different perspectives on the specific health and social care area/issue have
changed over time and how that has impacted practice and provisions locally.
Different types of sources are used through the time in health care context. There were various
sources in the past to gather different important information about health care issues, but as development
in the technology has taken place, now the approaches and sources of collecting knowledge have been
changed (Arnold and Boggs, 2015). In the outlook of professionals in health care, they utilise low
cost & unsteady experiments which had a less possibility of getting anticipated outcomes, in the past.
But nowadays, health care professionals develop information according to developed investigation and
researches so the received information and debate are reliable and implementable to modern days. Also,
with the improvement of modern science, health care providers can depend on most effective and
advanced investigators as well the research so the perspective of health care professionals have been
better and changed positively over the time.
It has been discovered that earlier, individuals obtain knowledge from newspapers as well as
posters. But in recent years it has been observed that people make use of internet and TV as well as
online medicine services so human being are now more aware of health issues and the negative
behaviours. The reliable resources were considered as newspapers and written reports and give the
information, but with the advancement, collection of information have become quicker and reliable. A
large area of information is provided by internet and that can be reviewed and updated with time.
Therefore, it is more reliable and valid than newspapers and leaflets in the past (Kim, McGrath-
Morrow and Collaco, 2017).

providers than the past. Therefore, health care givers are based on more developed scientific approaches

Evolvement of norms and regulation have played a key role in changing the views of the government
on diabetic issues, by the time (Cherry and Jacob, 2016). Rules & restrictions have been altered and
upgraded to reduce the danger caused by intake of unhealthy food items which give rise to obesity, so
the norms and regulation have altered the perspective as a difficult and straight one towards diabetes of
people (Grigoryeva Gratchev and Kokova, 2015).
3. An evaluation of the impact and possible outcomes of contemporary thinking on health and social
care provisions and services
The new perspective on health care issue of diabetes has affected many changes in the social
care context regarding to lack of insulin production, insulin resistance, genes and family history, obesity,
poor diet, etc. and associated health problems. Provision is considered to be a prior state of getting
prepare to a particular evaluated forecasting situation. Research reports on diabetes have demonstrated
that the exercise makes muscle tissues respond better to insulin and resistance training can lower the
diabetes risk, stated by Department of Health. Therefore, the regulatory body is aware of identifying
new tactics to fight against the massive increase in chronic disease ratios. Moreover, it was mentioned
by Researches of Department of Health that every year, 100,000 diabetic patients experienced episodes
of diabetic ketoacidosis, a metabolic disturbance characterized by nausea and over 150,000 are treated
on cancer risks, annually due to vomiting and abnormal pain (Ferlie and Ongaro, 2015). This has
been considered as a policy of decreasing the massive increase in low blood sugar which is very
common with Type 1 disease. It was also found that earlier, diabetes was not concerned as a serious
issue but in this modern world, vision of government has been changed as many investigations support
the practice of taking an action to diabetes constructing factors.
As the investigations done on diabetes have shown that patients are not admitted successfully in
health care services, the provisions will be changed by the government of health care services and
encourage individuals to leave poor diet. However, there is no known preventive measure for type 1
diabetes but is essential to have regular exercise as the only way of healing the health issues happen by
obesity, poor diet or way of living. This is to inspire people towards clinical services so that they can
recognise if there are any health problems caused by unhealthy diet and that early treatment will prevent
more lives from diabetes. One more provision by government for preventing diabetes as well as dealing

with increase in obesity, is providing education and providing a general practitioner system. This
provision is based on local investigation and researchers from the section of health. They have also
mentioned that 23% of people are not known regarding health education while 18% of people are not
disclosed for HSC services on diabetes. 51% people are acquiring health related knowledge, but 8% of
them are not pursuing, their health education. So the practice of the government is more rationale as
providing education is another way of protecting health issues such as diabetes (Ferlie, E. and
Ongaro,2015).
CONCLUSION
From the overall report it has been concluded that, the new perspective on health issue of
diabetes has caused numerous changes in health care context. Also, provision is considered as prior state
of getting ready to a particular analysed predicted situation. Further, it also stated that contemporary
thinking in health and social care services has given rise to many improvements and developments as
well as changed the practice against smoking. Moreover, information delivered to the people will
effectively affect their behaviour and attitudes towards certain issues in health and social care.
