Contemporary issues in business refers to the issues which are directly affect the place or
people. Contemporary issues can be created by the globalization, economy, innovations etc
(Arai, and et.al., 2018). there are many issues in the business management which can affect the
business directly which includes innovation and change, ethics work, talented manpower,
electronic commerce etc. there are many contemporary issues in different-different sectors like
globalization has foreign worker exploitation, loss of culture etc. In other words, contemporary
issues define as the problems and opportunities which are related to current trend policies and
life. Asda and Marks Spencer company has been taken for this report which is both British
companies. This report will cover the critical analysis of contemporary issues of the company. it
will also cover the impacts of contemporary issues. It will cover some recommendations which
are helpful for the company. the overall study will cover the globalization, innovation and
technology impacts on the organizations.

the companies (Gang, and et.al., 2018). There are various kinds of issues like Globalization,
innovation and technology which can affect the Asda and Marks Spencer’s business,
management, and leadership which are given below-
Contemporary issue of Globalization: It is refers to the flow of services and good, capital,
ideas, people around the world. it is the term which is used to describe the interconnections
between countries and analysis the relation with business, technology, culture etc. globalization
issues include terrorism, insecurity of job, price etc. there are some major issues which is affect
some points which are as follow-
 In Business: Globalization issues affect the business by increase the competition, growth
disproportionate, environmental issues, risk, public relations, ethical business practices
etc. these all issues can affect the business directly which is not suitable for any
organization or business (Giribone, Ligato, & Penone, 2018).

 In Management: Globalization issues for management is define as the management of
the company which is affected by the globalization. There are some challenges of
globalization which affect the management by international recruiting, managing
employee immigration, loss of culture, payroll etc.
 In Leadership: Globalization affect the leadership with some issues which are major by
the capabilities of efficiency work. There are some factors which may define the issues
for leadership which includes capacity to work, achievement the goals, responsible for
the task etc.
In context to Asda and Marks and spencer, they both are retailing company which are
multinational British companies. Globalization can affect the both companies in their business,
management, and leadership. Where are issues are faced by the companies. Both companies are
able to take risks, employee engage, capabilities of work more (Guo, and et.al., 2019).
Contemporary issue of Innovation: It is the one of the most fast important factors for any
organization, where innovation helps to change the overall organization process. But there are
some critical issues which are developing while the innovation. The process of innovation is
good for the company but it is also difficult to faced it. Innovation issues can be defined as the
many aspects like for business, management and leadership of the company. in relation to Asda
and Marks and Spencer there are some innovation issues which are divided into three categories
of the companies which are as follow-
 In business: business can face the issues of innovation such as missing innovation
strategies, empowered, lack of collaborations, customers relation etc. innovation is also
