INTRODUCTION
Social psychology refers to the study of thoughts feelings and behaviors of people which is
influenced by imagined, implied or actual presence of others. Organizations are full of people it
is essential to have knowledge about the social psychology of employees working in the
organization. Organizational behavior refers to the study of individual performance and group
performance in the organization. Social psychology help an organization to study organizational
behavior (Alkhadher, Beehr and Meng, 2020). This report contains various contemporary issues
which are faced by an organization in the study of organizational behavior with the help of
knowledge on social psychology of employees. It contains issues like creativity in individuals
and group of individuals harnessing the value of diversity to become more creative organizations
morality social identity and ethical behavior of employees and many more.
MAIN BODY Contemporary Issues
There are various contemporary issues which are faced by organization in order to
manage organizational behavior of people which are related to the organization. All these
contemporary issues are explained below:
Creativity in individuals and group of individuals
Successful operations in any organization is depend upon the creativity of employees or
group of employees working in the organization. It is essential for each and every organization to
increase creativity of their employees in order to achieve their goals in effective manner.
Increment of creativity in individuals and group of individuals is a contemporary challenge for
organizations which needs to be solved by them (Permana, Widjaja, and Rony, 2020). Social
psychology is a useful tool to understand several ways the organization can use to increase
creativity in their employees. An organization can use social psychology to understand the level
of creativity in each employee. Creativity can be increased in the employees by motivating them
to complete the work at their best possible effort. This motivational factors are depend on the
psychological needs of employees which need to be understand by the organization in order to
increase their efficiency and creativity in the operations.

Harnessing the value of diversity to become more creative organizations
Diversity refer to the understanding which thing is that every individual working in the
organization have its Unique Identity and it is essential to recognize the difference in each and
every individual. This difference can be anything on the basis of several dimensions such as a
necessity gender, sexual orientation, race, age, religious beliefs, social economic status or other
ideologies. In order to increase creativity and innovation in the organization it is essential for any
organization to adopt the concept of diversity in the organization and they should understand the
value of diversity in the organization so that they can use different ideas of different individuals
working in the organization (Boateng, 2020). Various organization the contemporary issues
faced by them is that they avoid the value of diversity in the organization to become creative in
their operations. If an organization understand the value of diversity they can grab the
opportunity to become a creative and innovative organization of the Marketplace.
Antisocial behavior in the workplace and victimization
Anti-Social behavior refers to a situation in an organization in which actions are taken which
harm or less consider the well-being of others. On the other hand victimization refers to the
actions which isolate someone out of unjust and cruel treatment. It has been noted that there are
various organizations in which leaders and managers behave inappropriately with their
employees in the workplace. This is one of the major contemporary issue which are seen in the
organization in which employees are treated in the workplace. This nice treatment and anti-social
behavior in the organization demotivate them to work effectively in the organization which
negative impact on the productivity of the organization.
The social identity approach to workplace stress
Many researches has research that's social identity approach is very essential to be
considered in case of organizational behavior. According to a psychologist social identity in a
workplace helps in stress management. One of the major contemporary issue which has been
faced in measure of the workplaces is workplace politics which affects the appraisal of hard
working candidates which creates an environment of stress in the organization which is not good
for its productivity. Every individual requires social identity in organization according to the
efforts they provide in the organization. If they don't get the desired appreciation at the
workplace it will be motivate them to work in same manner (Donmez-Turan and Kiliclar, 2021).

Morality, social identity and ethical behavior
Moral and ethical behavior in an organization concern with creating honest, equal and
fair academic, interpersonal and professional relationship among employees and Management. It
is essential to maintain moral and ethical behavior in organization as it help the organization to
create good working environment for employees with their dealings. Creation of good working
environment in the organization to increase the productivity of employees in the organization
creating a moral social identity and ethical behavior in the organization is also one of the major
contemporary issue faced by organizations (Martín-Santana, Cabrera-Suárez and de la Cruz
Déniz-Déniz, 2020).
CONCLUSION
From the above discussion it has been concluded that there are several contemporary
issues which are faced by an organization. One of the issue which has been identified in the
organization is to increase creativity in individual and Groups of individuals in the organization.
This creativity is affected by various factors such as harnessing the value of diversity in the
workplace or antisocial behavior in the workplace with the employees. Social identity approach
to workplace stress is also a major contemporary issue which affects the creativity of employees
and ultimately affects the productivity of an organization.
