In health and social care sector most effecting contemporary issues are related to the
facilities requirement, patient demands and improvement requirement along with the speciality.
Contemporary issues known as the problems and needs arise at the current situation which
impact the peoples, place (Hughes, ed., 2017). Nursing and residential care facilities is the
specialized part or area of the health and social care sectors which involves the specific care
staff for the resident. In this report different contemporary issues related to selected area is going
to be evaluated which influence the service improvement of that sector. Key prospectives of the

Nursing and residential care facilities one of the crucial health care department which
deals with the management and cure of the resident patients. This involves the all type of health
care facility for resident this can be either nursing, professional, supervisory and all other type of
care which is required by the patient or either necessary for him (Mondada, 2019). Nursing and
residential care facility area is further divided into multiple categorises such as the Home health
care services, nursing care facilities, mental health residential development facilities, community
care facility's and so on. Current nursing care facilities area is facing huge issues related to the
needs and development of the technology and patients all these issues are supporting for the
service improvement. Explanation of some nursing care contemporary services are explain
below with in the evaluation of their influence on service improvement (van Vliet, and
Hammond, 2021).
Demand of specialised nurses- Due to the huge range of health care issues and
inappropriate numbers of the staff such as the nurses, physicians. Need for the sepacilized nurses
