Introduction
The report is prepared so that the information can be analyzed through different subjects.
There are several academic qualifications have been explained by the lecturer so in this report
the overview of different qualities will be done. The report emphasis on personal reflection of
certain qualities which lead to attaining the success and the goals in the organization. At the
working place, different qualities as the leader are needed such as resilience, critical thinking,
communication, creativity, etc. which will be explained in this report (Clements, et al., 2015).
Optimistic
Through the lecture notes, I have analyzed that being an optimistic person is good as it
helps in building confidence for the future and also helps in doing the course well. Both types of
thinking positive, as well as negative, are involved in the optimistic. I generally lose my
confidence when I share my views and opinions in front of other people. So by studying the
meaning of optimistic I have learned that I will always think positive as it helps in improving my
health issues and also helps in releasing the stress. It also helps in making the full focus and
concentration on my job. If my thinking will be positive I can easily concentrate on the job work
and the chances of the accidents will be reduced (Van Wart, 2013).
It has been analyzed that optimistic person has positive self-esteem so as such I also have
and I have the good sense of the control which helps me in controlling the circumstances. There
are many ways through which positive thinking can be developed such as by cultivating
optimism, gratitude, and avoiding the overthinking.
Work Ethic
In the working place, ethics are very important as they are the rules and regulations which
help in focusing on the diligence. In the workplace, ethics are very essential as it not only
motivated me to the work but also prosperous the good future. I have also learned about the
protestant ethics which states that to get success in the workplace the hard work is very essential
(Kim, et al., 2015). There is much competition in the workplace so I have strengthened my skills
and knowledge (Sansom-Daly, et al., 2014). In the workplace, the very essential thing is to

manage the time for both personal lives and to work so that physical and mental health can be
maintained.
Servant leadership
I have also learned about servant leadership in the class that the main goal of the leader is
to serve the person as the leader. A good leader is the one who has many characteristics like
influencing the other people, good communication skills, directing and motivating the
employees, etc. servant leadership is the one in which the person organizes the things in the
better way and also guides and motivates the other person (Fu, et al., 2015).
I have analyzed that he puts the interest, needs, and aspiration of the second people on the
priority list and does not think about the owner and his main motivation is to serve the other
people. I do not have the good ability to influence the other person so I face the challenge of
convincing the other people so I always listen to other people with full of empathy.
Emotional Intelligence
It is one of the qualities which I have as I know how to manage the interpersonal
relationship very judiciously and empathetically. The work performance gets affected by
emotional intelligence as it leads to the success of the organization. There are four clusters of
emotional intelligence which are very essential in managing the emotion of life. I have the
mixture of these four clusters which are social awareness, self-awareness, self-management, and
social skills. As a good leader emotional intelligence is very essential as it helps in making the
relationship between the personal and professional relationship (Stander, et al., 2015).
Resilience
I have also learned that resilience is the quality which is required in the good leader as it
helps in overcoming with the problems and difficulties. I have the good quality of resilience as I
know how to cope up with the problems. Whenever any barriers occur in the organization I have
the good quality that I always try to solve that barrier so that effective working can be done in
the organization (Luthar, 2015).

The personal renewal is also very important to help in making the vision clear and also
helpful in taking the actions in the new realities. I have also learned that to develop good
mechanism resilience is very important as it helps in protecting with the problems. Self-
awareness is also very essential as it is helpful in focusing on the goals and taking seriously to
the actions. I know how to take the responsibilities and fulfill that instead of putting the
allegations on the other.
Creativity
As the leader creativity is very essential as it makes me different from the other people.
Creativity is something in which new addition to something has done with the attractive thing so
that ideas and implementation can be shown. I have learned that creativity is very essential as it
is the uniqueness of useful ideas. In the lectures, I have also studied and understand the design
thinking which helps in connecting with the users and solving the problems. It is also important
to maintain the relationship between the ideas and the information which can be done through
the brainstorming and mind mapping (Amanchukwu, et al., 2015)
When any business organization needs to be a success then creativity is very essential as
it gives relies on the ability to be intuitive. Traditional thinking can also be overcome with
creative thinking as its focus on thinking about the problem instead of thinking about the
solutions which help in staying focus with the work. Design thinking is effective in the
workplace as it helps in expressing my views and opinions through the media instead of the
symbol and words.
Critical thinking
To examine the beliefs, opinions and the assumptions critical thinking is very essential as
it helps in analyzing the facts and figures. Critical thinking helps in taking any decision very
deeply in the organization so that later the good outcomes can be achieved. Whenever taking
critical decisions I have to take first I listen to all the employees and then clearly examine the
facts and after that make any relevant decision (Lvina, 2015). I have always looked for better
ideas and then my divergent thinking is involved. So before making any decision or come to the
end of the point I always evaluate, analyses, synthesis and then make any relevant decisions.

Cognitive flexibility
In the organization, there are the chances of the huge inflexibility and the dynamic
changes so it can be resolved by cognitive thinking. It is the type of ability in the person through
which the can thinks about the multiple flexibilities and the concepts. With this cognitive
flexibility, any unexpected conditions and dynamic situations can be faced. I have learned that
cognitive flexibility mainly focuses on the complex domains and the ill-structured is that
whenever any complex situation arises then knowledge and the skills can be transfer (Smith, et
al., 2013).
By focusing and paying the attention to the things the flexibility can be maintained I the
working place. I never make any judgment towards the things and I always focus on the present
things and never get worried about the past which helps me to put the attention towards the
present work (Men and Stacks, 2013).
Teamwork
To get success and to achieve the higher outcomes I have learned that to work in the team
is much better than the working as the individual. Teamwork is very essential to achieve higher
outcomes and to work enthusiasm. Working together as the team helps in achieving the
outcomes in a short period and also gives better results. I have also learned that to build a strong
relationship in the working place team is essential as it helps in achieving the goals easily.
Teamwork not only gives better results but also when any conflicts arise in the working place
then it helps in resolving that (Dohmen, et al., 2010). Each member plays an essential role in the
team. I have a strong team in which every individual has the right to put their views and opinion
and no pressure has been put to any individual. Each team member is motivated so they work
with full of enthusiasm and builds a strong relationship.
Leadership
I have the good quality of leadership as I always inspire the people and also focus on the
higher outcomes. I have the good influencing and directing power so which helps in achieving
the common goals. I always take the risk in the organization and chose the difficult paths and
face the challenges to achieve higher outcomes (Ramchunder and Martins, 2014). Whenever any

For effective working in the organization, good communication is needed. I have the
good communication skill as with my communication ability I easily attract the people and
influnece4s in my words. I always convert the message to the people in my working organization
so I have effective communication skills as people generally understand easily what I convey to
them. I have also learned that in the organization I never use the slang languages as it reflects the
negative impact on the personality. Being the professional person I always use the formal
language and avoid the slang words (Frich, et al., 2015).
Conclusion
It has been evaluated that there are many qualities which are needed in the person for
effective working and it is helpful in achieving the higher outcomes. In the working place, not
only a positive attitude towards the work but also the confidence and good communication skills
are required. I have also analyzed that creativity and innovation is the biggest source to
overcome any situation as it attracts the people. It is recommended to use cognitive thinking at
the working place as the world is very dynamic so there should be a greater level of flexibility.
