INTRODUCTION
In the modern era of developing economy, every businesses are certainly affected by their local
environment, their management of workforce and through their external and internal factors. The
vital thing to carry for accomplishing their task by their work ethics, code of conduct and their
innovative ideas (Alkier and et.al., 2022). Every business in their long run must followed by
work ethics among their employees which creates an ideal image for their operating marketing
place. In the following report, it must include the every challenge which should face by 21st
century managers, some theories like four building block strategy, HR theory, Artificial
Intelligence impact and management of workforce. These all theories and procedure are in
context with McDonald's.
TASK
Four building block strategy
Strategy is the process where set of movements are undertaken by an organisation this is striving
to live on and thrive within side the face of change, uncertainty, risk and opposition. There are
simple strategic postures: defence and offence. McDonald's who is one of the brand deals in
confectionery and fast food industry who was overcome with the issues that had come in the
way. The four basic function which constitute the building blocks of any strategy are as follows - Conceding – The core of this term lie in the benchmarking in terms of time saving. As it
will assist McDonald's management in evaluating their internal environment like where
they are consuming more time against their competitors so that it will support in
managing their external environment. Confronting – In the same industry different companies have assorted vision and mission
which everyone wants to achieve within stipulated time. Confronting helps businesses in
identifying and critically evaluating the macro environment which in result as saving
fund and enhance the morale of their workforce. Competing – This element of building block includes when some enterprises have same
targeted customer and produces same type of goods which justifies some sort of tension
between competitors. To overcome the situation of competing, McDonald's need to
develop some well versed strategies which can trouble the competitors and help them to
expand their market place.

 Cooperating – In this element, it allows the enterprise in bringing all its elements
collectively and formulate a manner wherein all of them may be mixed in such a way that
helps in formulating a approach good way to assist in getting near its objective.
This concept assists McDonald's in creating strategies which will help an enterprise in evaluating
its internal and external factors and how to overcome with this and to cope up with them. Every
work in management is to be done after analysing the outcome for each and every step (Alshare
and Sewailem, 2018). If results are comes out to be drastic and will put company in trouble then
the enterprise should adapt themselves in rapidly changing environment.
Human resource theory
It is a general term which is used by company's management to build new strategy, tactics and
targets. This form the basis to develop new policies within the organisation. At present there
exists four basic human resource theories are as follows -
1. Organisational Lifecycle Theory This concept revolves across the existence cycle of
the products and the approaches wherein the outside
elements can influences the operations of an
organisation, because it one of the oldest HR Theory.
It has been followed with the aid of using
McDonald's for analysing the elements which could
have an effect on the operations of the employer

3. General Systems theory In this HR theory, it is interdisciplinary set of system
which can be interrelated or interdependent on human
made or natural (Chung and et.al., 2022). The motive
of this theory are to build a dynamic system which
can be applied to every level of organisation.
The components of this concept has been followed
with the aid of using McDonald's as they assist in
expertise the incidence of activities and in what
approaches they are interconnected.
