What are ethics?
Business ethics is the examining of correct business policies and practices related to
competent contradictory issues that include insider trading, discrimination, corporate
social governance, bribes, fiduciary obligations and corporate social responsibility
(Crane and Matten, 2016). Hence, business ethics are important in every aspect of
business operations whether it is the individual or organisational misconduct.
What is an ethical dilemma?
It is the circumstances in which the person has to select one of the best alternatives
among the two alternatives that are unfavourable. In business when ethical dilemma
arises it is significantly noticed that it cannot be solved through the moral and ethical
way. In the existing case scenario, the dilemma for the charitable organisation
manager is whether to conduct the campaign on bowel cancer for bringing
awareness or not to conduct campaign in every 2 months as it is quite expensive.
Solve the case study dilemma
It is the known fact that charitable organisation runs their business for giving the
welfare to the society rather than focuses on earning the profits. Thus from analysing
the scenario, I have understood and suggest to the charitable manager to carry out
the campaign process in period of 2 months so as to bring awareness on the disease
of bowel cancer. The dilemma can be resolved in the ethical and trusty way by
explaining the situation to the donors or fund providers so that funds can be
arranged in the honest manner for carrying out the campaign programs (Shaw and
Barry, 2015). It will support the individuals from preventing the disease of cancer
which is also recognised as untreatable.
Good ethical standards for the society can easily support the charity organisation to
raise the funds. Moreover, many of the charity trust easily get the grants and subsidy
from the government especially in context with the awareness programs. Thus, it is
the moral dilemma that organisation can solve in ethical manner by following the
ethical fundamentals and meeting with the trust of common public. The fund

arrangement can be done in the ethical way by receiving the public loyalty and trust
relation.
Moreover, in considering the case scenario, the managers can also concentrates on
giving the clarity in fund arranging practices that also support in building trust and
meeting implementation criteria of the campaigns (Werhane, 2014). Further if the
charitable trust cannot meet the trust or fails to arrange the funds from donors due to
any reason that will directly impacts the trust revenue. Hence, transparency in
relations is to be maintained to solve the dilemma.

Market research in the given scenario is carried out to introduce the new branch of
Romanian Food Stores in Ilford.
Type, location and market segment
Romanian food stores are expertise in Romanian cuisine which is the perfect blend
of diverse dishes from various traditions that brings connection but along with that it
also manages its original character. Its category involves the huge range of soups
with sour taste characteristics. The location of the Romanian Cuisine based on
Romanian food stores must be presented centrally in the city that is convenient and
visible to every travelers and local visitors (Davis et.al. 2018). Marketer can even
choose the place in Ilford where maximum Romanian food market or stores are
presented as it would be the place where maximum Romanian food lovers already
visit.

Gains: it is the profit that are required to be earned by the gym so that effective
liabilities and expenses can be paid off and the balance can be taken as personal
incomes of the owners in case Lisa. She earned income through gym fees, sale of
medicated products such as proteins etc, distill water and highly brand gym vests.
Suggestions and Causes for her cash flow issues
In the current case study, main recommendations for management of cash flows are:
 Offering high credit period to the customer, in this case credit period should
be reduced so that risk of bad debts can be reduced and customers will also
be motivated by this.
 Limited stock must be maintained only on demand from the clients so that
spare space can be left. With this unnecessary fund blockage will be reduced
and in spare space boxing equipments can be kept to generate the income by
selling them (Sorrentino and Smarra, 2015).
 Theft can be reduced only when installation of camera’s are done especially
in the weight rooms.
 Online payment of rent should be done every month to the place owner rather
than quarterly. This will reduce the heavy obligation of rent in three months.
Further cash flow will also be easily managed.
