Introduction
In this report I will discuss my ideal job, why it interests me, the company I
want to work in, the job role, the changes in the future and the resources that will be
beneficial for finding the job. Content writing for advertisements is my ideal job.
My Ideal Job
My ideal job is content writing for advertisements. Content writing can be
defined as writing engaging matter that attracts the people to whom it is targeted
towards. The writing has a certain style to it and a flow that is not formal as to attract
more people towards it (Altstiel, Grow and Jennings 2018). The job of content writing
fascinates me as I like writing and in this field, I can use my skill of writing to earn
money and can follow my passion by making it my career. It will provide me the
satisfaction I want from my work.
I would like to work in Illuminate, an advertising agency based in London
established in the year 2014. I would like to work here, as it is one of the best agency
in the UK. The company will help me in utilising my skills and learn more about the
industry. (Illuminate Agency, 2020).
Role and Skill
Job Description
The job description and the key responsibilities for the role would be as
follows:
 Creating content that is engaging to boast sales, increase the brand
awareness and create a good brand image.
 Use SEO, SEM and other such tools to boast a campaign.
 Research and provide material for copy writing.
Person Specification
 The person must be creative, innovative and adaptable.
 Can work as a team and use data to make certain marketing decisions.
 Must understand the requirement of the client and create content
according to it.

 A command over the language in which the content is to be delivered.
 Knowledge about the current social trends and the tools required for
creating content.
 Communication skills in effectively portraying the purpose of the
advertisement. (Altstiel, Grow and Jennings 2018).
My Qualification
 I am a creative and innovative person with appropriate language skills.
 Adapt to the working environment and understand the client’s
requirement.
 Useful knowledge about the tools of marketing.
Changes in the Future
In the future, the role of the job might change as people are avoiding watching
advertisements and it is becoming more difficult to engage the audience. In the
recent times the use of internet is on the rise and the advisements that are created
are mainly for online platforms; in the future the usage of internet will increase more
and the content must be more specific to engage and attract more people (Tucker,
2014). There will be more competition and only the best will be selected, who can
overachieve their target and have better skills and knowledge in the required area.
The increasing competition in this field will require more skills for a person to have
and a better understanding and qualifications.

There many resources that can be used to find a job that is suitable for a
person. The sources that will help me in finding the job are LinkedIn, Monster and
Twitter.

LinkedIn can help me get a job, as there are different companies who post
about job roles. I can choose the companies I wish to work in and can apply directly

It is a global online solution for people searching for jobs and for employers
who need skilled people. It analyses certain data and provides the best job to the
candidate and the best candidates to the employer. (About Monster, 2020)
How it will help me
Monster can be helpful in finding a job as most of the companies’ post their
job offers on this platform and I can filter out the companies I would wish to join
according to the job role that is asked by them. It becomes an easy source to apply
for jobs and know what the job requires and if is suitable for me or not.

Twitter is an online platform that tells what is happening in the world and what
the latest trends are that are being followed by the people. It has all the latest news

Twitter can be helpful in searching for a job, as there are many companies
