Analysis of the Case Study
The case study is based on the Bounce Fitness Business, operates and manages fitness
centers. The case highlights that business follows the traditional procedure of recording
important information such as the client's information and personal trainers’ information on
excel sheets. This results in creating a lot of issues for the trainers to manage their schedule
whenever they get a new client. In addition to this, the fitness centre does not hire extra
trainers which are required when any one of the regular trainers is not available. This creates
issues for the clients of the business and also affects the image of the business.
Furthermore, many times the trainer feel overworked to deliver class just to build the client
base. Even the data of the client is not real time, in its place, it is recorded or entered the time
instructor gets time.
From the analysis, it could be said that business must get involved in improving its data
management techniques and must have proper planning of the schedule of the trainers. The
data of the client must be recorded in real time in order to know the exact position as well as
the performance of the business. Recording data manually on excel sheets are traditional
ways this involves a number of errors which can cost business high. Hence, the business must
implement proper systems to avoid such type of issues.
Organization’s Performance Review
As discussed above the business is not able to proper service to its clients at the time when
any of the instructors is unavailable due to unavailability of extra staff. The issue becomes
severe because every instructor is allowed to manage their own record and information of the
client on a manual basis, which is only available to that particular trainer, which results in

Contingencies in Implementation Plan
There is a number of available threats or barriers that could cause a major disaster which has
a negative impact on the business. Some of the natural disasters like hurricanes, earthquakes,
etc. possess the potential to cause a disastrous outage of ERP and business application
systems. Besides this, there are various human-caused disastrous events that need an
emergency response. These events include unintentional and intentional events. Human-
caused unintentional events are things like avoiding the safety process, entering wrong
programming codes by mistake, and physical accidents of the responsible employee.
Intentional events are the work of discontented staffs, adventure seekers, or terrorists. In
order to avoid these contingencies at some level, the business develops a contingency plan.
A contingency plan is said to be the sequence of an act intended to assist a business to react
effectively to the major future event or condition that may arise or may not arise. This plan
many times called as the "Plan B" since it could be utilized as the alternative for the actions if
anticipated outcomes fail to occur. Contingency planning is one of the constituents of
business endurance, disaster retrieval and risk management (Fisher and Frey, 2014). The
possible contingency plan for Bounce Fitness is presented below:
